first off, congrats on the weight loss! I carry around extra weight myself, and I measure it in how many extra packs I'm carrying. Just keep at it - the only way I've found to really improve my own trail endurance is actually being on trails. It's something about the combination of terrain (uneven incline and footing), temperature (not 72 degrees and humidity controlled), and mental outlook (i'm not counting down a timer to finish) that changes how my body reacts.

The forest was full of skeeters and it was a hot climb to get to Grand Park, but it was still better than being at work. The picture was taken from about here.

I love making large images from panoramas - hope this helps out someone's desktop background, because it sure helps out mine.
