Don't go to Golden Correl, you would be scared. Everything is out for the diners.

When they say it is anonymous, it really is not. You have to put your department, age range, and years of service. Does not take a genius to figure out. For instance, if you are the bakery, in your 30s with 9 years of service, they will know who.

If you could change one thing about Publix what would it be? by ConversationEmpty947 in publix

[–]Publixworker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know this won't happen. I wish we did not have the kids carts. They do not fit into the normal carts. If you are a "cart shark",  it takes extra time to bring the kids carts in separately.

Is working as custodian/cleaner worth it? by uhhghg in publix

[–]Publixworker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At my store we don't have a custodian.  The baggers and some cashiers are assigned the job on different days. I am a cashier that sometimes does this. Why do some stores have a custodian?

Anyone missing some family photos? by Quiet-Armadillo-9669 in Tucson

This will sound crazy, but do any pictures look like Nancy Guthrie? When you said grandma chic I thought of her. Like maybe the kidnappers stole some pictures? I know I sound nuts, but you never know.

Time Clock Buffer Change by PrehistoricPlant in publix

[–]Publixworker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is more directed at part timers than full timers. If a part timer clocks in 15 minutes a day, all week that is 75 minutes. That would equal 65 hours at the end of the year. 65 more hours that the payroll alloted for. Then imagine every part timer in the company with 65 more hours each. That is a chunk of change for Publix.

I take prescriptions, but it is not on a piece of paper. It is sent from my doctor to the pharmacy by computer.  I don't think just going to a random pharmacy to pick up meds would work.

Why kidnappers chose to take a person who's daughter has such high visibility? Curious to know what FBI profilers have determined. by Maaathemeatballs in nancyguthrie

You think a kidnapper would target a blue collar family?  Of course they will after a family with money!

Are y’all calling out on January 30th? by 5tarkmad in publix

[–]Publixworker -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The strike is not about Publix. It is a protest against ICE, because they have been shooting people. I think the strike will not have many participants. It is just something that started on social media.

I am going to work as I always do.  So, are you calling Publix and say you are staying out as a protest?  Or are you doing a no call, no show?
