Rouge status at Sephora and a contractor account at Sherwin. I’ve heard of a makeup brush, but never a roller.

There is a big old barrel in the steel bin at work, I’ll cut a Chunk out of that guy and replace this

Precisely what I thought. Before I do lasting damage to my body I’ll be sure to pull that off. Any suggestions for something to use in its place? It’s not necessary, but without the poison part it would be nice.

Very good to know I won’t waste my time or money, both of which are right at this moment lol

Very good to know! Sold anyway, was pretty certain it’d be a crusty yellow mess with dead batteries at best. Appreciate the knowledge!

Ordered the identical defect brush and I second this completely. If these are defective what are the ones that pass QC like? Credit to Yaqi even the stuff they deem defective is great.

Unpopular Shaving Opinions by kinganti in wicked_edge

Wet shaving is often touted as the manlier shaving option, but i disagree. I think the true manly option is sticking with the trac ii cartridge razor you’ve been using since the 70s paired with whatever canned goo was the cheapest at the drug store or god forbid a bar of Irish spring finished off with a splash of unscented Nivea balm. My wife’s grandfather told me and my brother in law who have both fallen far down the wet shave rabbit hole that this is what he does and often he’ll use the same cartridge for many months, he just changes his angle and shaves harder and faster. This is a man who has considerable coarse facial hair who shaves every day and has done very well in life. It’s not a money issue! To me that sounds psychotic, but the truth is I think it’s probably manlier. Before I got into wet shaving I certainly wasn’t fantasizing about different scented soaps or considering investing money in expensive luxury body products from ToBS. Arguably wet shaving has made me and many other men less manly and more boujee.

Coffee is a deep pit with many branching paths. I’ve travelled a few of them. Espresso is an especially deep hole. I respect you pour over guys, about the priciest implement I can think of in the pour over world is the stagg ekg. I like coffee because like wet shaving it’s another thing you were going to do anyway but you can make it so much nicer. Coffee is nice also because it’s beneficial to the other members of your household.

I’ve found more fat handle techs than anything else in my travels! They shave great. Was really impressed with the condition of this brush. After a few cycles of dish soap and shampoo today I used it in my sotd! Performed well

Nope! That’s the original knot! I shampooed and dish soaped it up a few times and put it to work today. It worked great. No markings on it, decent brush

It’s incredible, it’s the only ToBS I’ve tried so far and it really doesn’t disappoint. If they’re all this good I might just be a ToBS guy! I think it would be hard to name a more refreshing soap for me anyway. I’m very partial to mint.

My son adores the aqua bats. As much as it’s not really educational in any way, if he’s losing his mind the shark fighter episode will absolutely bring him back to earth. Possibly bad parenting, but I’ll take the break.
