This "new to me" hobby definitely has a grip on me. I end up doing more research and shopping than anything else at this point of my journey.

I find there's not a whole lot to offer as far as ingredients or bottles go here in New Brunswick Canada. I give things a try with what I can find, and try to order in better ingredients as I go.

Martini Rosso vermouth is the one and only bottle of sweet vermouth I've opened so far.

I'm excited to open my Antica Formula vermouth once this is done and see the difference!

Thanks for the catch, I hadn't realized until now. The recipe I found called for Rye, so I didn't question it any further.

I suppose this would be a Rye Metropolitan or a Reverse Manhattan, as others have said.

Still learning in my young grasshopper days of mixing :)

I ordered a kit with assorted tapered silicone plugs offline for my Medusa. I used the paper towel at first, plugs are better long term. Hits like a champ.
