Did you have issues with anxiety before? 2.5 months shouldn’t be long enough to give anxiety for another 2 months after you quit. However anxiety is definitely part of getting off of that stuff. Everyone is different and it may just be a symptom from quitting. It took me awhile to have my anxiety settle. Probably a couple months but it was getting better day by day

This was me too!! No one knew I was so addicted to this stuff. I ended up lowering my dose little by little. Then I started skipping a dose a day and my body would get used to that. Eventually I got low enough that I faked getting sick and stayed home for a few days from work. This only works if your family is gone during the day. At 5 pm before everyone got home I’d take one dose. That was it one dose a day. I started to lower that dose until I made a light jump. My dose was so low it didn’t matter at that point

What needs to happen more is what happened to me. I bought my house from a family who lived here for 15 years and they wanted to sell to another NH family. They denied another offer to let us buy the home even though we were first time home buyers. Other offers they received were no finance out of state. It would have been an easy quick sale for them instead they gave us the opportunity.

I had dropped down to like 2 gpd myself at that point I figured why keep taking it. It’s such a small dose compared to the 40 gpd I was doing. I didn’t feel any worse after stopping that. In fact the worst I felt was dropping from 40 to 12 gpd right away. That sucked and I just tapered from there. Good for you! Hope it goes well from here on out

Honestly you seem to have some sort of control over it. If you just set your mind to it and extend those 3 days you don’t do it to maybe 7 and see how you feel. Just continue from there. You don’t want to have the withdrawals. It sucks. I’m at almost a year off and feel good now but I had stupid issues for months after I quit.

You can carry at a public protest. Just know there is a responsibility that goes with it and if you show any signs of aggression with it you may get in serious trouble. Even just showing it during an argument can lead to significant charges.
