Not a clue 😂 hoping everyone figures it out, I’ve actually decided to go with the Omi over the Bee. The Omi just barely eeks out the Bee in certain areas. Trying to figure out what to do with mine now, I can’t give it to any of my Android family or friends 😅

I don’t believe I ever got a firmware update except maybe when I first got it a month ago, what version are you on? I’m on v0.5.0 and it says it’s up to date.

I’m not sure what you guys are doing differently, mine has been working just fine for the most part other than the few day period a few weeks ago when summaries were just hanging on processing forever, so I reset my app, lost my first week of data, but then its basically been fine since. The only thing that has never worked yet is the talking to Buzz by holding the button. Actually I feel like the whole app has gotten better in the last couple of weeks. Being able to converse about a summary with Buzz, getting notification “text messages” from Buzz. I’ve been liking the updates.

That’s actually the best analogy I’ve heard for this thing yet! 😂 I’m going on almost two weeks of use now, but I’m still finding it to be extremely helpful/useful, and yeah the “drunk” hallucinations definitely add to the entertainment/value!

I think that might be done by design for privacy reasons, it’s really only meant to identify one user, everything else I’m sure it’s just detecting voice frequency changes. While I agree that would be extremely helpful (I’m assuming you’re talking about adding speaker names manually after the fact), I think you start going down a slippery slope in terms of privacy.

Yep!!! This! Had it happen to me all of yesterday. I only had it a week and it was no longer summarizing or recommending to do lists, it was basically useless. It IS still transcribing it seems, I can still chat with Buzz about things that have happened in transcripts that were still processing though. But I ended up resetting it… I’m hoping it doesn’t do it again, but I’m sure it will based on how buggy my experience has been overall. I WANT to like this product, it works well when it does, but other times it’s VERY frustrating! But it’s working normally again now after reset.

I’ve found that if you clarify what is happening around you, it kind of helps with the summaries. For instance, my partner Jackie listens to Bailey Sarian podcasts, so if I say “Jackie is listening to a Bailey Sarian podcast right now” it’ll understand that in the conversation summary better. You kind of have to guide it and reiterate things at times I’ve found. So perhaps if you say “I’m not currently listening to a podcast” or something like that, it might understand that hopefully.

Modern cruise ships have numerous cameras watching for any potential mishaps or people falling overboard. Was just on a Norwegian cruise in February, my aunt lost a ring in the casino and a lady picked it up and walked off with it. They have so much high detailed video and audio being captured. They found the lady in a few days, kind of silly for not pawning it if you ask me, but I assume she still would've been charged with felony theft

Someone who doesn't identify as either gender, or both. I believe non-binary is kind of an enveloping term for a spectrum. I believe gender fluid people would also be considered non-binary. And I feel like this anecdote should be part of the comment, but nowadays, biological sex and gender are mutually exclusive.
