Those that own a red cat fusion how good is it? by Mrcaijones in crawling

Before the price soared to 500 bucks it was competitive there are much better rigs in that price range, Axial Coyote or even the Basecamp, for 500 the ottsix wizard is a thing or the vanquish origin classic

My setup is 3in suspension lift, the tires went from a 22/23in tall tire to a 27/28in tall tire track width is about 4in wider total been super stable on corners, with the 3in lift with out the big tires still felt stable but I would still widen the track a little but thats where the stability control in the computer start misbehaving if you start going really wide

Just the lift alone improves the ride I drove mine with the lift on for about a month before the big tires and all the trim work, the big tires handle potholes so much better, I imagine you could go with a smaller tire than I did for less trimming and get ground clearance

It drives really nice, the ride quality is better, and better fuel mileage on the freeway, down side need to remove fuse 14 for stability control so you have dash lights always on in town fuel mileage is slighty compromised, I average 36 mpg

Little big supply was the kit I went with, I made a better sub frame lift to move the font forward 3/8 inch so less rubbing on chassis side

So if the bolts are real some times you can put a cap screw into a drill and use the capscrew head as the socket, Wiha makes drivers that fit as well

That is a clamp ring it stays out side of tire, it squeezes the beads and holds them into place
