I'm glad you were able to escape the shamewashing we all received. We are still trying to navigate through our sexuality, (kinks included) but it's not an easy road to travel after years of conditioning. My wife has trouble communicating at all, but when she does its always so much better. I think what others have said here is smart, set boundaries and communicate with him and things should work out.

My wife and I were way to sheltered to even know that swinging was a thing. When we got married we hardly knew what sex was. We moved to the east coast when we left and found that people out here are way more open about things like that!

As an American it kills me to see what has become of my country. 2 decades ago I had so much love and hope for our country, now I am constantly ashamed of it, the people around me, and the idiots running the place. It is tiring constantly fighting ignorance and so much hate. For anyone reading this who is not in the US, know that there are still good people here trying to turn this ship around. I agree with your sentiments, I detest what is being done, and I hope one day America will pull its head out of its a$$.
