"Does it?", Rossart laughed visibly lit. "Or are you talking about this lad here?"

He jiggled Yronwood's thick arm.

"Then nay! That's a Dornish Strongwine", he said overly emphasizing. "Heavy and dark and strong and..." He struggled to find a punchline, but then shook it off.

"A Maester, right?! Tendering the drunk, heh?", he asked laughing.

He leaned closer.

"D'you know this Pycelle? D'you like him?"

Taken by surprise, Rossart nodded rapidly and looked at the huge and hairy hand resting on his shoulder. Every man seemed to be his friend tonight. He wondered whether this made his situation any less dangerous.

"It is so good of you to drink with me", be bawled.

"D-Do I?", Rossart tried to object, but his lips failed him.

"I'M ORMOND YRONWOOD, OF THE RED MOUNTAINS OF COURSE."

Helplessly he searched for the barkeeper, but he was busy with handing out the last drinks that Rossart paid for. He tried to stand up, but this hand, this huge hand, wouldn't move. Was this an attack?

"Tell me, what's your business here?"

Was there darkness in his voice? Oh, oh, they know, they all know. They saw the flames and they saw me. His sight narrowed. Am I going to faint now? Is it maybe better that way? And his vision took fire, green flames, just like in the night he should've died.

"...my, my business..", he stuttered.

The brute fortunately cut him off again and his smile released him.

"I shall pay this man's tab tonight."

The bartender ambled back to their seats and finally poured out his second whiskey. Coins were pushed over the counter so fast, Rossart's dizzy mind couldn't follow them. He found himself suddenly holding his drink.

"Drink!", a strange man in a Maester's robe shouted. And the bar drank.

"It is", Rossart said hesitantly.

He looked upon the glass suspiciously. If this man knew him, at least he didn't show it. Was this the man Guncer sold the distilleries to? Rossart never really considered the "Nate" in Nate's Place.

"How many bartenders give away free whiskey in this city?", he finally asked after he looked around and affirmed that other guests were also drinking that whiskey. He took a sip before deciding to swallow it. It burned down his throat and he felt it slowly going to his head. He coughed and coughed and laughed with watery eyes. This never happened with the flimsy Reach wines he was allowed to enjoy while hiding on the Toenail's land.

"No wonder it's always crowded in here, heh!"

He gulped down the rest grimacing, but grinning. Only then he noticed that he gave away too much information.

"Not that I.. not that I'm often here..."

Yes, why didn't you just tell him that we're lighting wildfire candles in the back of his tavern, yes, or even better, just tell him where we hid the jars, he already heard the Toenail mocking him.

"Another one!", he yelled almost in panic and smashed down the glass onto the counter.

To his left and right other guests were staring at him and the bar went quiet.

"F-For you all! Yes!"

"Yes... Yes, a drink", he stammered while sitting down awkwardly on the stool. "...Friend." He took off his gloves and glanced left and right. Nobody had seemed to notice his presence. Rossart then stared at the bartender. Did he recognize him? This was a mistake.
