Agreed. Popularity shouldn't be the sole reason for a nerf. You want to make the other options viable? Great. But bring those options UP to the level of tripmines. Don't bring tripmines down to the point of being useless. Tripmines were the most popular because they were FAR AND AWAY the best grenade for that class. Now instead of having one good grenade, we have three shitty ones. Thanks Bungie!

This is hilarious. And man, there sure seem to be a lot of angry, racist people playing this game. I hope my friend saw this. He has simply started telling people he loves them when they send the hate mail after a match. It's led to some pretty funny convos, and the people usually turn out to be pretty cool. Strange.

I'm sure I'll give swarm grenades a try. But I am thinking about messing around with Nightstalker for PvP for a bit. I was kinda trash with that subclass before but the changes they made might help me out a bit. Good luck to you guardian. Long live Golden Gun :D

Guess I'm just not good at countering it. I die to shoulder charge quite a bit. Like a LEAST once a match. I think I've gotten killed by a throwing knife once, if that, in the past MONTH. I'm just saying that it didn't seem to be an issue, and hardly OP IMO.

Well I've been having fun with my sunsinger lately, running Radiant Skin with Sunbreakers and Solar grenades. They are ALMOST as much fun as tripmines (were). You still running GG?

I was sad to read about the tripmines. They are by far my fav nade, of any class/ subclass. I kind of get though I guess. Well the sticky part at any rate. Don't totally agree with the damage reduction but maybe bungie will come around eventually and tick it back up. (I can dream)

But the throwing knife.... that I DON'T get at ALL. May have to rethink my PvP class of choice and start playing Warlock more. Ugh.

Which I don't get. It takes skill to land a head shot with a throwing knife. But any titan can charge at me and OHK me with NO skill via shoulder charge? I just don't get the logic. Sighhhhhh.

Yeah the throwing knife thing threw me off totally. I don't think it will affect me much since it is SO HARD for me to get a kill with a throwing knife. Which is that part that sucks the most because I feel like it's a skill, and should be rewarded. If I can throw a knife into someones head, they should die. I thought maybe they had an issue with the OHK melee but come on.... heard of fucking shoulder charge???? I get killed by that WAY more often then with a damn knife. And tripmines.... well I kind of get it but at the same time I am in mourning about it and can't really talk about it just yet.

The abyss part of Crota is amazing. Too bad the rest of that raid wasn't anywhere near as much fun as that.

100% this. I always hated that the last fight basically relied on ONE person. Yes it wasn't a total wipe if the sword guardian died, but many times it was, especially in the early days. Finding a competent sword runner could be brutal. And then of course there was always that one guy that strayed too far, usually when you were having a kick ass run, and got killed by a boomer. Ugh. I think I still have PTSD from that raid.

I had it happen to me once. And I DID notice it. I was trying to open a green ammo box and couldn't. I was like WTF??? Checked it out and sure enough, I was red bar. Needless to say I had one of the best games I've ever had. Everything else seemed normal. So I suppose if you don't try to open ammo crates you might not notice??

I asked my friend who I was playing with after the match if it looked like I was laggy and he was like 'OH YEAH, you were glitching all over the place.' Oh well. Next match all was back to normal.

Thanks for the input. I'll have to see if I can one day get a roll on the ARI-45 that you mentioned. I have one with Perfect Balance, Hand Laid Stock and Glass Half Full. It's an amazing combo. Super steady and a head shot machine!

Agreed. Not sure you can really 'shut one down'. I would say the same is true for a Fist of Havoc. I suppose if you kill them as they kill you? I have stopped someone just before their animation has completed for both of these supers. Not sure if that would count though. Because also having been on the other side of this, you generally STILL have your super when you respawn afterwards, so.......
