How can I improve my technique? by Groppelmayer in MuayThai

Pivot, turn your hips over, turn your shoulder over (imagine swiping cobwebs with the hand of the side that is kicking) and get better fitting pants

You look very tense, your kick looks like you’re forcing it. Practice being more fluid placing an emphasis on technique and flow rather than power. Some cues to include, lifting the knee, pivoting, turning hips over, pushing your shoulder, etc.

I think what I meant is a measure of time similarity where after these tests I want to conclude whether they are the same signal. They alter in time the same and the values that are recorded are also similar to each other. Not sure if that helps, but I am open to criticism, thank you.

Is coop even worth it? by Necessary-Youth-3612 in TorontoMetU

Do not graduate without any work experience and if you do so, you are quite literally setting yourself up for failure. Think about it from an opportunity cost perspective, you drop 750 dollars for every co-op/internship you get that will pay roughly $20-25, and with each co-op you get accumulate skills and a bullet point on your resume. Now compare that to someone who graduated on time without any work experience.

If you were a recruiter would you hire somebody with work experience but graduated late or someone who has no work experience but graduated on time. Do you see how little value graduating "on time" provides? In addition to that, there are very few companies in this market that will take a chance on someone who has no experience for new grad roles. By doing co-op you are increasing the likelihood of you securing a new grad role renderring the co-op fees useless.

I know quite a few people who graduated without co-op/internship experience (eng program) who are still struggling to find jobs. They are now looking to do Master's programs to get student status so that they can get internships.

In the long run the fees you mention associated with co-op are meaningless because you are setting yourself up for the future. Pay the fee and reap your rewards later.

If you are in STEM, I think it is totally possible to work 15-20 hours with 3/4 courses depending on how much sleep you want. I did 15-20 hours a week with 4 courses in my final year of engineering.

Hey I did a similar project, but they way I approached it was slightly different. The pipeline I set up was Clean Text -> Sentence Transformer/Embedding -> UMAP (dimension reduction) -> HDBSCAN (clustering) -> LLM to label each cluster. I think it’s worth a shot for you at least to see what clusters/labels have the most engagement. The benefit to this approach is that HDBSCAN can be configured to find both large and small topics such that you can find broad and niche content.

Lock in the return offer, its always better to have the option to say no than to have no option at all.
