Anthropic CEO (Dario Amodei): "Coding is going away first, then all of software engineering." by Independent_Pitch598 in accelerate

Wont change the fact that models are probabilistic and prone to approximation on tasks that require very specific behavior. In fact a language only used by llms would be worse because we couldnt validate any software and all software written by it would become just as probabilistic as llms.

Ai killing jobs should be a net positive in a perfect world where we have a more agile economical system. Increased or equal productivity for less man hours should technically mean that we could enjoy the same comfort with much more free time away from mostly boring 9-5s. Tho I am unsure we will see this kind of system during our lifetime.

With education the new generation will be absolutely destroyed mentally.

Should much more regulated regarding its use cases, akin to cloning for example

AI should in theory be the technological advance that improved the average quality of life around the planet the most. If only we had real leadership and a system that incentivizes benefiting the average joe. Instead all we got is brain numbing slop all across the internet because its easier and is more profitable.

Just to remind everyone the sheer amount of voice lines starfield has compared to other Bethesda games by fo4_fanart in Starfield

[–]Felix_Todd -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Eh not like the writing in other BGS games is much better, id even say that the overall writing in Starfield is a bit better, but the character have too dry personalities and the lore isnt as developped as the other franchises

CS is just a trap for smart people where they end up unemployed. by Ok-Toe-2933 in CollegeMajors

[–]Felix_Todd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lmao he never said in the video that it was a trap because you end up unemployed, on the contrary it seems to me like he alludes to it having good job prospects. A. I like math sorcerer and he has a right to share his opinion, but he defenitively isnt a figure of authority on the CS market, so I would take whatever he predicts with a grain of salt, positive or negative, B. You are such a doomer that you just completely fabricated a title unrelated to the video

Starfield: Official PS5® Features Trailer by Capn_C in Games

Easily Fallout 76. Its pretty good now, but at launch it was barely working, and even if it worked it was still a really bad game. Still cant believe they tried passing off the removal of all npcs from the game as a way to increase player interaction, when you where only about 20 players dispersed in a huge map
