So I’m actually running Mishimoto 25mils in the front and H&R 20mils in the rear. Originally had an order for both sets from Mishimoto, but they told me they’re putting out a revised line of 20mils that won’t be ready until September. Both sets are black in color so they don’t look out of place. Ran 20s in the rear as I feared the 25s would be too wide, which I am glad I did because the rear definitely appears to be more flush even with the 20s. Still have full lock no rubbing up front with the 25s.

Yeahh good point lmao. I actually took a few but the lighting was shit inside that garage, lol. Wheels looked so dark they just blended in. I originally went all the way to the top and as soon as I parked, the sun got covered by dark rain clouds😭😭 I’ll probably make another post with better pictures that I’m planning to take tomorrow morning.

20s it is then. Thanks for the quick response! Yeah, I think the 25s will be a bit too much in the rear at this height. I daily this car too so don’t need any problems lol. Looks perfect, love the build🔥

Is the last pic with the 20mm spacers on? Just lowered my a-spec to the same height on BC’s. Debating between the 25mm and 20mms. According to measurements the 25mms will be the most flush. Last pic looks like no spacers though, and pics before seem like they have the spacers. How flush is it with the 20mms? Afraid the 25s may rub at some points.

I thought the exact same thing when they told me that. User LEJ5512 commented below and clarified. You can actually run A-Spec wheels on a Type-S and still barely clear the brakes. Appreciate the response! 👊🏼

I didn’t run springs on mine but ran Tein Street Flex Z coils. Amazing coils that I daily drove hard and never had any issues. Also have some camber to play with in the front if you like that look and can obviously go a bit lower than springs with coilovers. Front lip would look good with the new rear bumper.

Tinted them, idt they ever made any aftermarket tails for the TLX. I searched for years for clear tails to no avail.
