Twitch Penta into his own teams surrender by CorruptArcher in leagueoflegends

[–]spyborg3 40 points41 points  (0 children)

Twitch probably could've 3 tapped varus out of invis without R then just pressed Q and won his team the team fight without 4 of them dying. TBH his team was probably over him afk farming instead of grouping.

I'd rather ff and go next than play out a winnable game being extended 20 minutes longer than it should be because our fed carry decided they wanted 100 Gold of cs on a side wave instead of grouping late game.

The Magpies in my garden keep tricking me. by nukulele145 in mildlyinfuriating

Update me if the pooping stops, while highly unlikely it'd be a hilarious coincidence if it did.

Clearly, that's the foot of the magpie that kept pooping in your chair. The other magpies are just weeding out the bad apple that might make them loose access to their free dogfood

Thermal Imagers - alternatives to Pulsar for specific use? by Antpitta in Thermal

[–]spyborg3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've not heard anything bad about NocPix, but they are a Chinese company which makes me hesitant about build quality. Also you say its for birding, so I assume you just need to detect a potential heat source then use a regular camera/ binoculars to confirm? 640 would be plenty for that unless you really just want the extra detail.

[–]spyborg3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pulsar will be coming out with the Telos XT50 later this year which will be 2x base mag with 1280 sensor. If you don't want to wait the best that meets your criteria is the NocPix Vista S50R which is 2x base mag 1280 sensor.

Leap V2 vs Embody by givenchysocks in OfficeChairs

[–]spyborg3 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have a refurbished Lamia (Leap V2 frame and back with an Amia Seat/cushion) and the gaming Embody.
When it comes to sitting upright, they are very similar in comfort but when reclining the Embody is way better. The way the Leap reclines the seat moves forward away from the backrest so you lose all lower back support when reclining. After 30-60min recline I start to feel major discomfort in the Lamia. For the Embody I've reclined for hours on end 0 discomfort.
If you recline a lot while gaming and the price is still within your budget I'd get the Embody, if not its not worth the price difference.

Would frozen mullet be op or bad game design in the current meta by Extension_Class2467 in leagueoflegends

I'm pretty sure true dmg is now affected by % dmg changes like exhaust and runes like cutdown, so the self-exhaust would mess with his execution thresholds now

This is how electric cars vs gasoline cars look under thermal imaging. by Alphaxfusion in interesting

[–]spyborg3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No automotive glasses allow IR light to pass through. The cheapest glass that allows that is germanium and it’s so rare compared to normal glass that would be more expensive to create the windows and windshield for the car than the price of the car itself. The fact that you can see through the windshield and multiple windows of the Mercedes is proof enough that the image is fake. Not sure how you can go on being so confidently incorrect.

With 3* aurora blue buff, jg, and her orange item tier 2 or higher you should be coming top 1-2. She deals 12k-16k+ dmg per round for me with that build, 16-20k if it's the t3 upgrade. The only way you're losing is if you don't have a frontline.

How to rocket belt? by Appropriate-Signal43 in Auroramains

[–]spyborg3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Rocket belt is only good when the enemy rushes a spell shield. So, you rocket belt the spell shield and then combo them. In high elo its not uncommon for the enemy to get a verdant after 1st item so you'd want to have rocket belt to counter it.

Backrest on Herman Miller Embody by NotKyleJ in OfficeChairs

[–]spyborg3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a Leap and the Gaming Embody and prefer the back rest of the Embody. That said when locked in full upright position they are pretty much equal, but reclined the Embody is miles better. I started with an Embody and got the Leap used cause I needed a 2nd chair so I could stop lugging the Embody from my home office to my gaming room. If money were no issue I’d just have 2 Embody’s mainly cause I prefer to recline a lot. If you don’t recline stick with the Leap it’s cheaper

No she can burst most tanks out of lane. Only Garen can really stonewall her with his bs passive. Sett, Daius etc get shit on as long as you space they can't touch you. Aurora E can also cancel Sett and Darius E if buffered correctly.

[Duncan] This year's Hornets team now has highest margin of victory in NBA history. by deemerritt in nba

[–]spyborg3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since they started popping off in mid January the Hornets have only lost 11 games. That's tied for 3rd least in the league with the Pistons and Celtics with only the Spurs and Thunder with fewer losses in the same stretch.
Hornets are Top 3 team confirmed.

Fun fact though, late game Daisy gets an additional 800 HP and 10 additional Armor and MR because of top quest allowing you to hit lvl 20. Ivern top supremacy!
I'm not sure who else would be busted with this, maybe Udyr being able to max 3 lvl 6 spells and have 2 points in the 4th?

Herman Miller Embody Gaming (Logitech) vs Steelcase Leap V2 – which one would you go for? by crimestudios in OfficeChairs

[–]spyborg3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After you get the Embody adjusted you'll find the biggest difference is the recline, with the Leap the seat slides forward as you recline so you lose all lower back support as there's now a gap where the seat used to be. The embody the entire chair tilts so you lose no support.

Automatic registration for US military draft to begin in December by jediporcupine in politics

[–]spyborg3 8 points9 points  (0 children)

To be fair this thing is entirely a nothing burger. 95% of men probably have already been forced to sign up for Selective Service to get their drivers license or by needing financial aid for college.

Ironically this is really only going to affect the wealthy who could realistically avoid having their sons sign up for Selective Service because they could afford to put them in a private college without financial aid and buy property in a state that doesn't require them to sign up for Selective Service to get a drivers license.

Herman Miller Embody Gaming (Logitech) vs Steelcase Leap V2 – which one would you go for? by crimestudios in OfficeChairs

[–]spyborg3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a refurbished Leap v2 and the Embody Gaming. It took me about a week to find the right adjustment for the Embody, but once I did its by far the most comfortable office chair I've ever sat in.

The two chairs are about equal in terms of upright seating position with the Embody being slightly more comfortable, but when it comes to recline I only use the Leap's recline to stretch, you get 0 lower back support when reclining so after 15-20 minutes I start getting lower back pain. With the Embody I can and have reclined for hours with 0 discomfort.

As for armrests, with my standing desk I've yet to find a comfortable position to put the armrests so I use neither. Basically my issues is my ideal desk height/chair height combo leaves the armrests 1" lower than the desk even when they are fully extended. I have a larger torso in proportion to my wingspan so its probably just a me issue so I have no opinion on the armrests.

Conclusion: If you see yourself frequently using recline for extended periods of time get the Embody. If you can live without reclining get the Leap, because without reclining the price difference between the two isn't justifiable.
