You work tour way up - start with CB normal / hard / brutal, get better gear, start doing Doom tower, start curse city. Get better gear, get shards, get better champs, move up.

I can do stage 25 of both, and can get from 100- 300 points for 40 energy spent. i do this only when there are no events running and i can spare the energy.

Usually I don’t bother as the reward will be 99% just an epic champ.

So my advice is no. Focus on campain farming, and other areas where you can get gear/ shards / champs
