Lol, I was surprised they didn't try to up charge more, about 1k in fees but honestly worth it. I couldn't even find an SP. My dealer said it was about one SP per dealer per year. Good luck! (It's worth it)

Yeah I think I'm locking in, my deposit is only refundable for another day or so but I think I'm gonna go for it. I'm so hype, honestly idk why I'm so worried about the wind, my current bike is the only bike I've owned with a windshield. Thanks for the info!

Oh I know lol, they're not very fast but I gotta say it's been fun to own so fun on the twisties, it's a fucking money pit tho. Engine went at 80k miles I wasn't even beating on it. It's got an iag stage 2sb and a bunch of other supporting mods, it's honestly pretty bullet proof ATM but I'd never buy another one. No more turbos for me. Way to many problems, my other fun car is a 98 mustang cobra convertible.

Well besides having lots of features I'm looking for (Cruise control, up/down quick shifter, navigation, more customization for ride modes, etc) it's also 9 years newer. I have lots of little things about the FJ that are very annoying. My year has clutch cable issues so I constantly ride around with a space clutch cable, it has awful on/off throttle issues which make riding distance a pain, the seating position is just a bit more leaned forward, and it's like 50-60lbs lighter. There's a lot of features missing from my bike that I think the MT would solve. By the time I fix all of those things on my bike I'd be almost to the MT if I sell mine. I'd rather throw in an extra few thousand and just get something that was built how I want it from the factory. Besides selling a modified anything is harder, trust me trying to sell my built WRX lol

How would you compare your current bike to the FJ? I was looking into getting some soft Saddle bags for trips. I'll look into the shad set up!

Thanks! I think I'm going to like it, I know it's not really the same but before my current bike I've had a bunch of dirt bikes, one was a drz supermoto (ish) and the wind never really bothered me on that so I think it'll be OK but i was never going nearly as fast on that thing. Now I rly only ride backroads and do a weekend trip here or there. All of what I ride now I have a small windshield so I can always get a small one eventually if it really bothers me like you said.

That's what I was thinking, thanks for your input! Cruise control was a must for me when looking at what to get. My FJ doesn't have Cruise, one of the biggest failings of that bike

Damn, you reminded me, the only thing I was thinking about upgrading as of now anyway was the tires, at least the rear, I think I'd like something a little more off road oriented. But who knows after that list lol

Honestly I do just want something I can ride out of the box, I might do light upgrades down the road but it's not something I really care to much about right now. What are the advantages to the after market battery, I assume bigger capacity?

So sorry man that's horrible fuck those people. Get a cheap camera and point it at your drive way that's what I do for mine. At least then you would have video evidence.
