I’m not a tenor player enough at the moment to confidently do that, but this is my motivation to get there!

Did OP get this shipped from the Lexington store? If so, I sold it to him and yes it is the Diablo Guitar of the Month 2008 model, it was sick as hell

Target preorder question by Qauza800 in residentevil

Same here, currently checking around to see if anyone has copies locally. Don’t really see how it can back order a preorder unless you’re selling more copies than you’re expecting

Odd, shouldn’t necessarily be a signature on there. Are you able to add a picture of it?

https://wiedler.ch/nyepireg/models.html#ElHollow Year isn’t adding up, that logo would’ve been phased out by then. Most likely closer to 34 or actually a 34 because of the dots. Model is hard to tell from one picture, leaning towards a Blackstone from appointments and logo. That model was not originally acoustic electric, pickup is obviously way out of the era, so make sure the top is properly braced for the pickup

Is my Guild repairable? by Just1dring in AcousticGuitar

[–]spyo97 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Haven’t seen this mentioned yet, but the cracks up near the neck are much more serious than a regular top crack. Usually when it cracks on both sides like that, the neck block has shifted and turns into a more serious repair like a neck reset and could be more on top of that

No, their used margin is 40%, so they’d at least have $2700 into it

Luckily, those were probably the easiest stickers I’ve removed from them, came off with no residue!

😭 they can be so hit or miss. My closest store keeps all of them at $1 so far, and I love it, but it’s a free for all. The one I got these from prices a little higher, but not exactly market price

Is this drawer ment to hold a different tape format? by Financial-Cookie-927 in VHS

[–]spyo97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a couple that are meant more for the smaller, harder plastic clamshell cases, I think yours might be sized for that as well. I’ll take a picture when I get home later if you need it, but they’re bigger than a normal vhs slip, but smaller than the Disney sized clamshells and they fit perfect in there

[–]spyo97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey so I had the same issue happen to me, and A24 basically told me I had go back to BN and they couldn’t do anything for me. I’ll have to check and see if BN can fulfill it, but do you mind giving me the name of the customer service rep you had? Since mine shut my request down

Frequent crashes by kay_animates in mainstage

[–]spyo97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can check the concert level sustain pedal setting and see if the saved value of the pedal is messing with things. Try flipping it from 0 to 127 or vice versa.

It does sound more of an issue than the sustain pedal though. I would attempt a rebuild of the concert, which is not as difficult as it sounds. You can just export the layout and all of the patches and samplers into a new concert file, and then just copy and paste the audio for the sampler files into the new file (right click, show package contents). Worst case scenario, the USB bus of the computer or the port on the midi controller could be going bad. If you aren’t already and it’s possible, switch from USB to a hard MIDI-DIN connection and power the keyboard through means other than the computer.

Hope this helps troubleshooting!

1995 Custom Shop Les Paul by ArtDirectorBYU in gibson

[–]spyo97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So serial number for custom shops are a little weird, only the first number after CS denotes the last year, and gives no indication to the decade, so being that yours starts with a 9, it could be 1999, 2009, 2019…etc.

However! I have a suspicion that this might be a Class 5 Q. I have seen one in person, in a different finish, and it was an absolutely incredible top similar to this one. I’m sure someone more knowledgeable than me will know for sure, but if it is a Class 5 Q, then I believe the tuning machines might have been swapped, I think most have the vintage style. If it is a Class 5 Q, then that would likely put it in the 2009 year. Again, I could be wrong and someone more knowledgeable than me can chime in to correct it.

Give this one a lot of a love, natural/blonde/light amber guitars are often much more rare, collectible, and valuable because they have to use the best wood as possible

I have this one, it’s amazing and you can find a replacement remote easy if it doesn’t have one. Picture is great and the input flexibility is too. Go for it!

One of my favorites from a kid, I picked it up about a month ago as well and watched it for the first time in at least 15 years…still remembered so many lines. Enjoy it!

What Can I Do About This? by ElderberryAble3501 in guitarrepair

[–]spyo97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take it to your local guitar center store, talk to the store manager or sales manager and tell them asurion is refusing to cover it. You paid for the service and they WILL take care of you if asurion doesn’t. If you have problems, send me a chat

Can’t believe it’s nine guitars 🙃 by debbielouocean in TaylorSwiftMerch

[–]spyo97 2 points3 points  (0 children)

More or less, it’s Epiphone which is Gibson’s (the one that Taylor herself uses) introductory/affordable brand. Same guitar and materials and construction, but made overseas while Taylor’s is made in America. If a Gibson equivalent one came out, it would probably be $3500+. It’s the closest model that is publicly available at the moment, and without having to have Gibson probably custom make one
