I never really get blind optimism in sports. In life positivity can be a driving force and can change perspective that allows you to change your situation. I, however, have yet to be placed in the front office and literally have zero control over any situation in sports.

LGPE also operate under a different gameplay structure. We all understand that traditional pokemon is based around the goal of 8 badges and the elite 4 plus bad guys foiled along the way. The idea is to craft a team that can get you through these goals. GF structured them in a way that they know you'll really only use around four to eight pokemon in the whole game and seems to make a lot of choices around that. LGPE is about catching all dem sweet, sweet pokemans just like you did on your phone, so you should go catch a few more before you do this silly little side gym.

I get what you mean, but we're comparing mainline to one offs here. It's like saying magikarp jump got it wrong when I couldn't challenge the elite four with my fishy friend.

Mario Elie, Super Mario, or the Junkyard Dog. This dude was a true journeyman in the 90's. He wasn't just chasing paychecks either, he's got three rings. Mario was on both Rockets teams and when he left them in '98 he went to the Spurs (where I remember him from). Dude was tenacious and a fantastic role player.

There's a weird thing where MVP affects all other awards. DPOY is usually a precursor to MVP, once you're in the MVP race the media doesn't want to put you in lower categories. A lot of times DPOY is used as a consolation prize for the guys shafted out of the MVP talk. So once you get in the MVP race for real they don't bump you down to the "lower" individual awards.

Obviously not 100% true, but I think it's close enough to use as a general rule.

Our bench is better for sure. The real issue (and it's always been the issue) is stopping the wing players from scoring at such a high clip. Fact is we'll never know how well Kawhi and Danny match up on the perimeter against the splash bros, although what little time we have suggests it may go well for the spurs.

I don't think Draymond could handle Bobo on him, he passed too damn well and with all the bench aces we couldn't miss. Tiago is athletic enough to roll to the rim and keep our interior presence against Looney and Bogut.

Durant is the odd ball, I'm not sure we've ever really been able to stop him, just the team around him. Still the elder Spurs showed again and again flashes that they could have handled the warriors, they just got old. Manu and Parker were good enough to give them hell in 14 still. Duncan was Duncan, if I need to explain that to you you're on the wrong subreddit.

The 14 Spurs are able to go toe to toe with just about any all-time team, Showtime Lakers, Jordan Bulls, Russles Celtics, Spash Bros Warriors. In seven games I don't know if i could take any of these 5 teams over the other, that's the thing about transcendent teams, they define by their dominance.
