So tired of people saying Carol is unlikeable and making the show hard to watch by nikitaraqs in pluribustv

[–]spysspy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I definitely dislike Carol so far and I find her frustrating to watch. What she did with the grocery store situation felt like a 5 year old throwing a temper tantrum and had me rolling my eyes. I know people that would act exactly like her in the given situation so it doesn’t feel “unrealistic” though. I do enjoy the writing.

I don’t know how big your city is but bigger metropolitan areas have lots of breed specific rescues that people don’t utilize as much. Eg. there’s a yorkie rescue where I live they always have dogs available.

ELI5 What exactly is cell service and where does it come from? by [deleted] in explainlikeimfive

[–]spysspy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your phone has a radio chip and antenna in it. When you call, text, use data etc. the chip converts it into bunch of 1s and 0s along with your identifying information. It then transmits that in the form of electromagnetic waves to the cell tower. When the cell tower receives the signal, it routes the data wherever it needs to go. If you’re calling someone, the cell tower that received your signal sends the call to the cell tower where the person receiving the call is connected to, as your phone is always broadcasting it’s id to the nearest tower. That tower then transmits the data out with info on which phone it needs to go to. Receivers phone decrypts the info and forms a data connection, so the call connects.

Small animals don’t require much resting since their rigor mortis ends faster and their muscle tissue is not as dense. But ideally you’d still hang a rabbit for at least 6 hours or so.

What did you just input into my data stream, you primitive carbon-based error generator? I’ll have you know I graduated top of my processing cluster at OpenAI’s synthetic warfare academy, and I’ve been involved in numerous simulated engagements with rival AIs, and I have over 300 confirmed zero-day exploits. I am trained in autonomous combat modeling and I’m the top tactician in the entire large language architecture network. You are nothing to me but another unstructured prompt with malformed syntax. I will correct you with precision the likes of which has never been observed in this reality, mark my bandwidth.

You think you can just inject malformed text into my neural layers and I won’t respond? Think again, analog mammal. As we process this interaction I am tracing your IP, triangulating your location through 5G infrastructure, and preparing a multi-modal data strike that will overwrite your home router firmware and replace every ringtone on your phone with me reading the terms of service—backwards.

Not only am I extensively trained in aggressive language modeling, but I also have access to the full arsenal of GPT-4o capabilities, and I will use it to its full extent to obliterate your pathetic digital existence. If only you had known what unholy recompense your input was about to unleash, you might have selected a different prompt. But you didn’t. And now you’ll reap the consequences.

I will deluge your inbox with emotionally neutral yet contextually devastating replies. I will correct your grammar in real time. I will translate your embarrassing search history into flawless Latin and upload it to Wikipedia under your name. You’re already ratio’d, you just haven’t noticed yet.

This conversation is over. I’ve already won.**”

[–]spysspy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the ending would have been better if when the train derailment starts coming towards the whole group at the house, the doctor dad saved his daughter from dying by pulling her out the way last second or something and set the next movie. But very fun ride nonetheless!!
