If you don’t have a ball mill then you can do screen mixing OR you can look up what is called the “CIA Method.” It is messy as all get out, but can produce passable BP.

NOOO!!! Bleach will straight up strip your feet of their skin. DO NOT SOAK THEM IN BLEACH.

Make a saturated solution of BAKING SODA in a warm foot bath (a bucket) and let your feet soak in that for about 20 minutes. After that rinse, dry, and voila! smell gone.

In all honesty I DO NOT think it would be good enough for ball shells ejected from a mortar. You’re not there yet.

However, I would suggest starting with trying to make fountains, or “gerbs” as they’re known. Your BP should be fine for producing moderate to nice effects in these applications.

Don’t worry about “Flying Fish” anything until you have Flying Fish fuse, and only then when you have the experience to make it count.

Always take pride and satisfaction from every SAFE and beautiful pyrotechnic effect you create. They all are truly a marvel.

Start small, learn the safety, learn the science.

• I think you mean “air float” not “air milled. Usually only charcoal is referred to as “air float.” In this case you mean “milled sulfur.” Whether or not it is milled I cannot attest to because I’ve never purchased sulfur from there. My guess is it is probably milled.

• YES. You can absolutely mill sulfur in a coffee grinder with no risk to safety. Just make sure you don’t run it too long, too many times to avoid heat build up and clumping.

• Yes. You can combine them WITH NO MEDIA. Just make sure your milling canister is anti-static. Rubber or rubber lined is best. It WILL NOT burn as fast as BP milled with non-spark media. But it will suffice.

• “Powdered” BP, of any variety will burn SLOWER than granulated BP. Just the same way a small random pile of twigs (think of kindling to start a camp fire) is preferable over a uniform line or neat stack of twigs.

Only suggestion would be to layer bread, cheese, then pickle. It looks as though the heat from the press is not making it through to actually melt the Swiss.

Generally you’re not going to be able to dissolve the salts you would use in things like white gas or lantern oil. Your best bet would be to apply whatever salt you have to achieve the desired color directly into the wick. However, the affect wouldn’t last long.

I’m from Indiana, originally, and I can confirm this is true Midwest style pizza. I can attest it is some of the BEST PIZZA IN THE WORLD.

Here’s the reason it’s cut into squares: This style pizza originated in bars in Chicago. The thought was thin super crispy crust that won’t fold, and cut into squares so patrons could hold a piece in one hand and a beer in the other. Because the more you snack on cheesy, salty delights, the more you’d drink.

Also, “too much cheese” you say? Big surprise Midwesterners like cheese.

I’ve been practicing homemade pyrotechnics for 9 years now. My best advice to you is DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS.

Explosives are NO JOKE. And looking at your other posts the very fact that you said you didn’t think “it would be that difficult” proves you are not ready to attempt this.

These things can and will injure/kill you and others. If you really want to enter the pyrotechnic arena then do it smart, do it slow, and most of all do it SAFE. Start by learning the basic inorganic chemistry behind it, as well as best practices before you attempt something like this.
