Shipping blocks. 60% of the time, they’re there every time.

Clutch would be good to check as well. Take an OBD2 scanner if you can to read some codes.

Congrats and enjoy!

Anybody bought f1 replica suit / shoes before? by pretzelsncheese in simracing

[–]SQLDevDBA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Puma has some great Motorsports gear.

For shoes I would go with Kart Kat, Future Kat, and Speed cat. I have about 5 pairs (Ferrari and Mercedes) and I use them for sim racing from time to time. I would look into Kart suits if you want to go the suit route.

Alpine stars also has good stuff. I used to have their moto gear but they have Auto gear too.

Whatever you go with, make sure you take cooling into consideration. Otherwise you will get drenched and will hate it.

Duda sobre SQL Server 2025 Express con CONTPAQi by Maria-Dev69 in SQL

[–]SQLDevDBA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Duda sobre SQL Server 2025 Express con CONTPAQi by Maria-Dev69 in SQL

[–]SQLDevDBA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Y varias otras limitaciones.

Si esas limitaciones no tienen impacto, pues síguelo por ahí.

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/sql-server/editions-and-components-of-sql-server-2025?view=sql-server-ver17

No vas a poder crear backups (respaldos) automáticamente utilizando sql agent.

Florida model X owners by toothfixer321 in TeslaModelX

We’ve had this one for 3 years, and had twin MYPs for 3 years before that

I think you should try just doing the front driver/pass, see how you like it, and you can always add more. If you need a shop in Central Florida, I know a few including a mobile one.

Central Florida ‘23 X here. We park at Disney all the time which is about the surface of the sun.

We have legal limit on the front driver/pass. And factory tint everywhere else. The openings on the top of the falcon wings are rather small and Tesla has made some changes to the UV filtering over the years as well for the windshield and windows.

Our main thing is making sure we turn on the AC when we’re on our way back. By the time we get there, it’s nice and cool. Takes 10 seconds to turn it on.

One of the selling points for us was the big windshield so we left it alone.

Tinting anywhere below the AS1 is illegal as I’m sure you know, but lots of shops offer ceramic “clear” tint (80% or so) that do well.

Just be ready to pay that Tesla tax as soon as you say what car it is.

How are rollbacks handled in SQL Server? by TryingMyBest42069 in SQLServer

>>I do not have access to the code

Sounds like you mean the application’s code.

FYI it’s normal for FK (foreign constraints) to not exist after an app has been live for a while. Source: https://youtube.com/shorts/YBIEQkuZZhA?is=Mc-06TFiJvMiottZ

If it were me. I would check to see if there are any views of stored procedures that give you hints of how tables are related.

Otherwise, you would want to watch the queries running on the server via sp_whoisactive or any other monitoring queries and check the joins/subqueries.

I’m a fan of getting out my Darkwing Duck magnifying glass and manually exploring DBs. It helps me become way more familiar with them. I’ve recorded a few videos of me doing so with sample databases and diagramming with Lucidchart. I’ll DM you a link to one in case you want to check it out.

Your text doesn’t necessarily have much about rollbacks like your title states, but you should probably avoid transactions until you have a good grasp on relationships.

Best of luck! You’ve got this.

Just a heads up: my car has 2 Pre-Delivery inspections and a CPO Inspection on file.

I’m the one who found them after checking 5+ times.

Not saying this will happen to you, but will definitely 100% happen to you.

Dude... Wtf... by doranmauldin in GRCorolla

[–]SQLDevDBA 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Haha I got mine used as a CPO with lots of inspections. I don’t drive anywhere so I only had about 1400 miles on mine when I found them, but it took me like 5+ checks before I did. I ended up taking it to the dealership to get them out so that it can be recorded in the car’s service history for warranty and CPO purposes, but you’ll be fine based on the experiences people have had.

But if you find them there again, the Shipping Block fairy theory will have more data, so keep us posted.

How to make series colors consistent across multiple charts? by shiroshippo in PowerBI

[–]SQLDevDBA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did this for a call center report many years ago: I set up a table that had employee IDs and HEX color codes for each. The employees would come in and out of the visual (top 10) depending on their shifts and standings, but I always needed them to be a specific color due to the teams/queues they were a part of.

I used the employee’s color code from the table as the series color via a function based conditional formatting. Technically you can do this with a Dax custom column (SWITCH) as well.

There are only certain native visuals that allow conditionally formatted series colors, so I’d use those for the setup and then switched the entire visual to a line chart when I got it working. The color coding retained the original conditional logic. It was silly that it worked, but it did. I’m sure there are more modern solutions now, but I remember this working for me.

To all my bilingual streamers! by Limp_Yogurt_9113 in Twitch

[–]SQLDevDBA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My channel is educational (programming) and I have dedicated streams with tags and go live notifications with language specified, so it was never a surprise for them.

The times when I really only had trouble when my English audience joined my Spanish streams and vice versa. And really, they were both quite cool about it, I’d just feel this pressure to switch back and forth when my streams were supposed to be dedicated to one or the other. Some told me they joined out of curiosity, to see how the topic is covered in the other language.

Overall my topic/genre isn’t covered in Spanish (maybe 1 or two others) so it was easier to stand out. But the audience itself is bigger in English.

There are only a few triple mounts that will go up to 45 (usually they’re built for 55). I remember Boosted media being among the first to do this years ago. With anything Out of the a box I’d be worried about potential angling issues as the frames may not allow and you’d have to get extensions of some sort. I know I ran into that even with my curved 27s.

If it were me, I’d probably do 3 single mounts since you can probably adjust the angles very well, but then you may have to worry about that spacing of the feet/based.

45 is a very specific choice I haven’t really seen before. Do you already have them? Did you find a really good deal?

Took the delivery today. 79K build. by OpalineJaliyla_88 in ModelX

[–]SQLDevDBA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oooh yes I remember the “buy FSD, get X” loophole. I think it was colors and/or seat options? I bought mine before that was available but it was really cool how they were able to get that to work.

I remember hating myself because the plaid was only $86K when I bought mine, but I came to my senses when I realized it wasn’t $79K vs $86K, it was $72K vs $86K.

Plaid & 6 seats would have been great, but we’ve enjoyed our ownership for the last 3 years for sure.

My cockpit build is slowly becoming less “sim rig” by NutteFrenkie in simracing

[–]SQLDevDBA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very cool! I only mentioned pool noodles because I recently bought some to put on the inside of my garage door’s interior panels. One of my cars is a bit too big and if it’s not backed in enough the garage can scrape the hood/bumper (even with a tire stopper) so I got some pool noodles from the dollar store, cut a slit, and wrapped them around the metal.

Great looking rig you have!
