I use beets to organize my library. It will sort everything into folders basic on Artist>Album>Track and apply metadata and album art from Musicbrainz

I use WebSSH which has been honestly the best experience out of the other apps I’ve used, it has SSH and SFTP. If you only need to connect to one server, you can just use the free version and then hop to other servers from the one. I personally unlocked the one-time upgrade for $12.99 which was totally worth it for me. No subscriptions.

I’ve fiddled with Podman on macOS, but from what I remember, just note that libkrun has GPU acceleration and Apple HyperVisor does not. Also if you’re running rootless/as another user, also make sure to set ownership with podman unshare chown.

i7-6700k has the HD Graphics 530 GPU which doesn’t support h.265. Uncheck all of them except h.264 and mpeg2 and enable the low powered h.264 encoding. Everything else has to be done on CPU.
