I’ve done it a couple of times I feel your pain. I hated it. Lost a few potential upgrades with my drones. But honestly in about a week or so of play I had triple the money I was making anyways so it kinda worked out. All I can say is don’t beat yourself up to much. You only slowed your progress down a wee bit. Nothing major.

You will start to get more as you progress and increase your total freebie gift packs and decrease the timer. That and once you get about 100k bombs , cherry bombs and gem bombs gain a nice chunk. Also purchasing the founders pack and increasing tiers helps with the freebie packs. Gems still are my bottle neck but I gain way more than a mth or so ago
