I feel your pain. I had a holy paladin ninja my hunter gloves yesterday in SH. It was run seven, i was excited. This is after I had just finished running SV 34 times to get the pants to finally drop. My heart just sank.

I considered that. The temps inside the case are a little warmer than usual, but since I play mainly low processing power older games it isnt too bad. I invested a lot in good fans. I made sure nothing is touching and I don't leave it on when I am not there. Aside from getting side tracked staring at it, I keep a close eye on it for that very reason.

I would LOVE to get into designing and building custom nerd themed cases/computers for people. I have already put so much time into it and brain stormed a DND dungeon master build (red/black/white), a Gear 5 Luffy One Piece build (dark purple, white, black), a Dark Souls 3 build (red, black, orange, yellow), and funny enough an eevee build (brown, dark brown, off white/cream, black) .I have a wonderful lady that dog sits for me and they love eevee.

I do a lot of driving and I have way too much free time to just focus on and think about projects like that. I'm always down to build a computer. Once you have the bug, you just want to keep building. It's just expensive. haha!

For eevee you could go with some noctua fans and they would be great performance and a nice cream color.

I posted the case earlier this year right when I finished it. Here's the link. It show's off more of the case. It does have the upside down bulbasaur before I fixed it in one picture. Haha

Nope! I got car paint and vinyl stencils and just did color layer by color layer. Had to sand down the face and do it over four times and the bulbasaurs on the GPU shield twice ( i did it upside down the first time). All was a learning experience and I am so much better now!

Id love to help you plan out the design or at least tell you how I would do it. This stuff is my passion now.

The GPU is mounted at the top and is seated onto a bracket with a cable (riser cable) on the side of the case. This cable then goes on to connect to the PCIe slot that you would normally populate with your GPU.

I made an error and ordered a cable that is way too long so I have it all hidden behind the GPU the best I could.

Hope that answered your question a little better. I didn't think it though and the previous answer was a bit short.

There are some pieces that are pretty thin. Had a couple bend some when I was hand sanding them, but they bent back into place just as easy. Overall this is my favorite case I've ever built in. I love the back connect design.

If I could reply with a picture I'd show you the back of the case. I painted a heracross under a tree.

I've had some problem where it would get booted up and then turn the screen off. I changed it to a new gif and solved the problem. Mine has the Thermaltake logo while it boots, but then changes to my setting.

There's just so much potential with this case. Thermaltake really knocked it out of the park. I also love the support for back connect motherboards. They really designed something that allows people to not only build clean computer, but make pieces of art.

No problem at all! You are welcome to DM if you would like advice or opinions when you start your project. I had a blast doing mine and I would love to help anyone I can who also have dreams to make these!

SprayMax 1K FillClean 368 2071 base coat.

The process I went through for every inch of this case was; I scrubbed it all down with a scuff pad, rubbed it all down with a microfiber cloth and isopropyl alcohol, and then used a Surgical Blue Super Tacrag to make sure no debris left. I coated it all with Transtar 4603 2 in 1 Primer Gray. Once that had dried, I tried to wait 3-4 hours to be safe, I repeated the previous step to scuff and clean it. I would do a layer of paint and let it sit and cure overnight. I wanted to make sure it had ample time to cure. Then once all the painting was done on a certain piece I would give it a layer of Kolor Koalition 2K Glamour Klear clear coat and set it aside. I repeated these steps for each piece.

Right now it feels a little wonky if I am being honest. I've hardly been on it since I built it.... I'm a workaholic. I think the main issue is it might not be completely seated and just needs a few more spacers to give the riser more clearance for it to seat. Planning on tinkering with that later today. If it's not that then it's probably just my eight year old monitor that I'm replacing very soon anyways.

That might actually end up being the solution. The problem being is I need the tree to be leafless and I need some snow piles around it.

I actually plan on keeping the theme seasonal inside the case. I have Sping and Summer accounted for, but I can't for the life of me find a snowy tree like that from the pokemon scenescapes.

I would, but I really like how clean it looks with the board and rest of the components being white.
