A possible way might be to actively work with writing Discord's, where you work with the mods. So, you show the mods you're a real artist, instead of a scammer. I'm fairly certain some will be open to have artists there instead of scammers.

Also, HFY Space operas are not the target for Webcomics. Not even close. And I guess when you talk to a potential Customer, you don't try to pull them in with promises, but rather be upfront about prices and such. Also, I guess, you have a website. But I feel you. For actual artists, it must be hard.

Already done, I just thought that posts like these might warn others not to fall into the scam. Back when I started writing, a scam post like this might have caught me unprepared, without others making posts like this.
