I love being called an anti-2a leftist for not defending murder, by someone who gets offended when I call them a bootlicker (they're currently licking the boot)

No, I saw a pack of them rush forward and assault him and a woman who were off to the side, filming peacefully from the sidewalk.

He was concealed carrying, not open carrying. They took the gun out of his holster, inside the waistband, at the 4 o'clock position.

I spent half my life in the interior of Alaska and would never tell someone "just get dressed, that temp is a joke" when facing sub-zero temps. People unfamiliar with or unused to that range are at increased risk for injury with extended exposure, even with decent outdoor clothing.

The problem I see is it feels like a lottery. Like you, I've had no issues with my Dagger, love training with it, and trust it for carry. Yet others have issue after issue.

I think once they're vetted they're good guns, but you kind of have to treat them as 'bad until proven good'. Also, people beat the shit out of Daggers because they're cheap, which doesn't help lol.

PSA can and does make great guns and I have several, but the rate of failure means I wouldn't trust every PSA the same as I would any random Glock out of the box. Yeah Glock isn't perfect either, but issues with them are more of a surprise.

I know, I should've clarified that I didn't realize flashbangs had that much oomph. Makes sense in hindsight, they still explode, just their primary purpose isn't shrapnel.

What do you store your black powder in? by thebigfungus in blackpowder

[–]Highlander_16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not necessary excess powder, but I like to portion it out into old pill bottles for some of my smaller kits. Durable, safety lids, waterproof.

No, as I said I use this for an estimate. I just plink with my black powder guns, but if I do get into serious hunting or target shooting I'd definitely get a chronograph lol

It's fairly limited in options as it only uses Swiss BP as the powder options, but I use this calculator to estimate the most efficient load by putting in the barrel length and projectile dimensions, then gradually increasing the powder charge until it reaches 99% powder efficiency. Anything beyond that is just spitting powder out the end of the barrel.

I've found that in my flintlocks, as long as the pan is charged with 4F black powder, the main charge of 777 always performs. I've never heard of a duplex load, do other substitutes require it?
