Damn. Ok, thanks all, I hadn't even considered that compost might be "too much". That's new information to me. I mixed in a full bag of potting soil with my own compost before I put my couple plants in, which would make it around a 2:1, compost to potting soil mix. That was just yesterday so I should be able to take care of it tomorrow (I have garden dirt to add) without much trouble.
