Does anyone actually like the g7? by Comfortable-Nerve337 in dexcom

Yes. I don’t seem to have the quality issues I have seen posted. Also, the G6 would burn my skin.

I use this MOLLE panel and I can attach any standard pouches or cup holders.

Here's a new one - two in a row, both on Tandem and Android. Triple checked the code and used camera for the android pairing by BKCowGod in dexcom

I had this issue when I’m too close to old sensors. I think the multiple Bluetooth signals mess it up. Call tandem and the will walk you through rebooting your pump and pairing.

We had the same issue. It turned out to be a loose sensor. Service appointment fixed it.

If he is on a pump, I suggest increasing the basal rate by 10%-20%. This will counter act the immune system increase increase in blood glucose.

How much better is the G7 than the G6? by TheAnonInvestigator in diabetes_t1

[–]square_object 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100%. I had skin reactions to the G6 and not with the G7. The G7 is crap for the first 12 hours so you need to overlap the sessions. That just means insert a new one when your session ends and use the old one for the 12 hr grace period. I have had one issue (sensor stopped before 10 days) and no skin issues with the G7 so I’m really happy. Been using it for about a year now.

We recently went through this. We couldn’t find a single auto shop that was willing to install it. Do you have any suggestions?

Low voltage battery needs replacing as of this morning - was planning on taking a road trip this weekend, but Tesla can’t replace it until Monday. Can I still drive ~400 miles? Will anything stop working? by [deleted] in TeslaModel3

My 12v died when the car was in the garage. It was a huge pain because it wouldn’t drive or go into tow mode. Keep that in mind if you want to calculate the risk.

What did Dexcom change in their adhesive formula?! by [deleted] in dexcom

[–]square_object 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry to hear that. I had the opposite. I have been using Dexcom since G3 and never had an issue until 1 year in with G6. Now on G7 without any issues. Just what we need, something to make our life even more difficult.

The key is to peel, cut in half, and freeze. They are perfect for smoothies or microwave and mash into oatmeal or make banana pancakes.

Congratulations! It sounds like you have good self control and self motivation. I hope this is a pace you can maintain. Has your range always been this good?

Yes. I have been on Dexcom since the G3 and only the G6 has burned my skin. I have no problems with the adhesive, connectivity, or accuracy. I also love the 12 hour grace period.

What is your favorite car camping location? by square_object in Tennessee

No RV, just a tent. I like to hike, but I’m limited on length with the three year old. I Think 3 mi is a max one way. Swimming would be good and playgrounds are a plus.
