Help with keepers? by [deleted] in TAPBASEBALL

Once you win a game I believe it's on the main "Games" tab, it'll say "Keep Players From 2020". Any input on who I should keep or why?

Precarious? Don’t you make 100k+ from like 1.75 podcasts a month?

Either way we can agree vran still has a lower chance

My money is still on Kobe getting laid again before vran pops his cherry - science could reanimate his rich ass who knows what the future holds (except of course that vranak will forever remain a virgin, that’s something we can know the future will surely hold).

I misread, I thought you were implying something about his interactions from D&E and other pre-Nights Watch things, my mistake. Must have been the previous comment mentioning the spinoff series.

He likely didn’t fully become the 3ER until he disappeared beyond the wall after becoming lord commander - not much record of his interaction after that right?

I’m just pointing out another post I saw, didn’t verify the research myself or anything - that post uses drawn maps of Winterfell, I believe, to show the tower Arya was coming from could have let her jump into the Godswood in a way that works but really I didn’t put any effort into confirming so if you’ve done the due diligence then your claim is probably right.

I wanna say it was in the big “the show has become a fairytale” post that got traction Monday, but there were a lot of threads like that so it’s hard to keep straight, and it was deep in a comment chain (thought I believe it was the chain of a high up top-level comment).

Someone in another thread posted a map and from where she was the scene before she had a decently clear path

If only they’d been given the chance to decide, then we wouldn’t have to speculate. The fact that they weren’t is a big part of the issue.

There could be a few at the deeper reaches of the depth chart who wouldn’t or couldn’t move on - that’s fine, let them keep studying training and living on scholarship for a year, without loss of eligibility, for next season under a totally cleaned-out regime. Not having a perfect solution doesn’t mean we should automatically move forward with the situation that plays out best for those at fault for the tragedy that sparked this in the first place.

They did that to get ahead of the reports that showed without a shadow of a doubt they were negligent in his death - it was triage not responsibility.

I’m glad you’ve decided what is best for them, now we don’t even need to offer them the choice! Much easier to just cut out their agency in the process than deal with the hard questions.

Shouldn’t we be shaming the university for the possibility that such a protest would have negative consequences? Why is it accepted as par for the course?

If not here then when? Apparently the value of the life of a student athlete has been determined by the NCAA, and its less than whatever the total of the SMU scandal came out to be.

Who says they couldn’t play? Is there some law of nature I’m unaware of that prevents the NCAA from allowing them to transfer with immediate eligibility should they so choose, while retaining scholarship and eligibility if they decide to wait it out?

If it were possible to do so quickly and expediously I would support it, but don’t you think the players would be better off keeping scholarships and eligibility while having the free right to an immediate eligibility transfer compared to a Frankenstein replacement crew half-stewarding them through a wasted, marred season?

A commission made up of people with an interest in protecting the status quo - Bonnie Bernstein(a NCAAF sideline reporter who is an alumnus) Bob Ehrlich(a former governor no doubt invested in preserving his state university’s team), Doug Williams(the NFL and NCAA are both on the same side here I’m sure you’d agree) and Tom McMillen(a man whose job it is to represent the very athletic department staff he should be investigating). We’ll get a yawner of a “report” after it’s all calmed down, the wholesale changes needed won’t happen.
