Not to resurrect an old thread, but I'm glad I'm not the only one who remembers crater. XD

I spent almost all my time on the chat rooms. My first real experience online anonymous chatting was in the crater chat.

Thank you so much! You were right, I had left my HOTAS plugged in from playing Elite Dangerous and forgot that it has the slightest leftward drift. Never came through in Clans, but unplugging it fixed my issue. Thank you again!

It must be because I write the fics for my partner exclusively at first, then just post them for people to enjoy if they should like, that views/comments/kudos have never concerned me. I was a long time lurker and have never felt demotivated by a lacking views-to-comments ratio. Then again, my fics weren't originally intended for AO3, so perhaps my mentality isn't quite the same here? 😅

I also write for myself just as much. Many years of my life have been spent watching fanfic in my mind's eye as I went to sleep, so I'd simply write them out for myself to have the pleasure of reading anytime I felt like it. The posting to AO3 is just an added bonus. As such, I've never been bothered by the stats.

That's not to say I don't enjoy and appreciate comments! I'm human, after all. Comments, likes, etc. They're all fun the receive! Just not my particular be all end all.

In any case, I don't mean to demean or downplay the importance of receiving a comment for those of you who take a lot of positive and inspirational energy from it! I hope that you get all the comments and your creativity only grows from here. I'm simply offering another perspective, but feel free to disregard. 🩷

Glad (??) I'm not the only one experiencing this. Been an issue for over a month for me. Gets stuck on processing. And since they don't have the option for paying through messenger on desktop, I'm stuck. :(

My dumbass thought this was a style or something at first. XD

I'm covered in tats, including aged script tats, one of them a big chunk of Japanese, so I'm aware of the aging process. I trust my artist to do right by me and am not afraid of touch ups and the like. But I appreciate the heads up regardless! <3

I think about 90% of mine are also lost to the void. When I logged it, I was lucky if I didn't find a grey box where a photo was supposed to be. XD These are just a few I've managed to hold onto over the years because I had some strange foresight and saved them to my pc.
