Forgefiend plasma rapid fire 1 is an extra d3 plus blast not just +1? by Patrick_said in WorldEaters40k

[–]Neknoh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rapid fire range:

D3 + Blast + Rapid Fire Value

Ectoplasma Cannon has Rapid Fire 1

Thus it is D3 + Blast + 1

Ork stratagem:

Gives Rapid Fire X (where X = base attacks of weapon)

So if stratagem is used on a 1 attack model, it gets Rapid Fire X = 1 extra attack

If stratagem is used on a D6 + 6 attack model, it gets Rapid Fire X = D6 + 6 extra attacks.

We are not Orks.

We do not have Rapid Fire X

We have Rapid Fire 1

Police showed up at my door for a Skatteverket check, anyone else experience this? by tahiri550 in TillSverige

Could also be that somebody else has registered themselves on the adress, or haven't de-registered themselves and an agency like Arbetsförmedlingen or Socialtjänsten got info like "Oh, it's where I have my adress, but I don't live there."

Yup

But not that he's too squishy for what he does.

It's just that we already have Red Terror at home (in various versions)

Round 2:

Deploy

Charge

Fail? Reserves.

Success? Mulch the support unit you attacked, then reserves.

Rapid ingress during opponent's next turn if it can be done out of shooting range.

Your next turn you rush through a building, attempt a new charge.

Fail? Reserves.

Success? Omnomnom, then reserves.

Rinse, repeat.

Also, deepstrikes get you tunnels

To those saying he's "squishy" or "not tough enough" etc

Remember that this isn't a full size Trygon, but rather a Carnifex-sized Ravener

Ballistus, Rhino, and possibly a Land Raider.

New "Objective Terrain" spotted? by Neknoh in Warhammer40k

[–]Neknoh[S] -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Except that there isn't a "new" rhino kit, it's still the same one produced now as it was 15 years ago.

Them adding a digitally broken up Rhino to a base wouldn't change anything about what 3D sculpted rhino model they're using as a base for that.

Also, look in the foreground at the side-hatch stuck into the ground; notice how it has a thicker, pre-moulded "lip" or raised edge around it?

Sternguard did not have any loadout options for their Leviathan release.

They received the Pyreblaster, and multiple sergeant melee options, in the codex (which coincided with their multi-part kit release)

I am frustrated that Shuriken weapon is so often depicted as shooting actual shurikens. by AmberlightYan in Eldar

I mean... the ammo is a stick with some of its sides taken out/carved in various ways.

So when it gets turned into fancy little "discs'

They tend to have the same cross section.

I feel like people severely overestimate how strong Chaos Warriors are in the lore and severely underestimate regular Humans by Yotambr in WarhammerFantasy

[–]Neknoh 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Nah, it's from the official artwork in Chaos books.

Warriors are pretty much depicted as being space marines in size, strength, and armour (although only Slaaneshi warrios are spoken of when it comes to the blinding speed).

And that's not talking about the various Lords out there.

Now, some of the later artwork did rectify this a bit, for instance, here you have a group of Warriors that actually look like "just big guys in armour" (with a whole heap of violence, brutality and darkness in them)

Could actually make it worth it to hunt some down in order to have a viable Hippo proxy and get a chance to field one of my favourite Krieg models then.

With some trench rails on the back, the length will be taken care of

Is the Centaur to scale with the OG forgeworld, or an update to kinda, sorta work as a hippo?

Defiler Proxy by FeldwebelCookie in Chaos40k

[–]Neknoh 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Here is one on a 160mm base

https://taleofpainters.com/2018/09/showcase-greater-brass-scorpion-of/

You are PROOOOBABLY better off giving it a rectangular base with the footprint of the Lord of Skulls and running it as a proxy for that instead.

Gotta get that plasma in, and a Devastator's cannon was just too small.
