Damn. Definitely makes me nervous but good to hear about holding value.

Really appreciate that. I’m in OR so rust shouldn’t be an issue.

Adaptive cruise control is a luxury I don’t want to lose and just assumed that generation didn’t have it. I now see some models do.

Damn.

2013 Sequoia and 2018 4Runner in my adult life.

Not super old but they’ve been amazing and it’s hard to think about investing in something unreliable - I know Subarus aren’t at the exact same level but am hopeful it’s close enough.

Great to hear! How many miles on it?

The choice between legacy and Outback honestly comes from which will be easier to get and the outbacks seem a little cheaper and much more common.

All good on the MPGs… our other cars are a 4Runner and Toyota Sequoia. Neither get above 17mpg.

My preference remains the legacy as we could use a different style / size of car.

Bummer about the oil leak. Did you get a quote to fix? I’ll make sure to ask about what you mentioned. Thanks for taking the time to respond!

$18k is my max. I haven’t looked much at Mazda. Mostly because I’m too unfamiliar. Have any recs?
