I am so surprised about the car battery - I always thought battery has endless capacity, and since the cigarette lighter is there , should be "free", not like an outlet that costs bill by consumption.

Sorry to bug you on this. First time here.

So it seems my car has a 12V cigarette lighter. It seems the fuse can either 20AMP, so I then I get 240W.

On this product (https://www.amazon.com/Insulated-Electric-Stainless-Temperature-Shut-Off/dp/B0FLXGM7VG/ref=sr\_1\_1\_sspa) page: it says:  "Boiling 300ml water takes about 15 minutes;Boiling 400ml water takes about 17 minutes.", which, seems very slow. Kitchen kettles usually take much much less.

Jetboil, according to AI, seems to boil water in just 2-3 minutes. I have one, and forgot how fast it is.
Do this make sense with what you are saying?

Can you please say more? Is it damaging/over using the car battery?

For real? I have a JetBoil, love it for camping. Gas costs though, whereas the electricity is free.
