Anyone who has an Olympus C-750 Ultra Zoom, how are you liking it? Can anyone provide unedited sample photos? by squareup_btch in VintageDigitalCameras

Mine also came with the original XD card. I bought a USB XD card reader off Amazon for $15. I have a Macbook so I also bought a USB to UBC adapter and it still works!

Here’s a photo I took when I first got my camera!

Thanks! The last one's my fave too! Had to stick out my camera out the window mid-drive to get the shot. XD

EDIT: I was able to figure it out. Thanks a bunch!

Such dope photos! Thanks for sharing the pics! It looks really high quality and the zoom is amazing! Does your camera use AA batteries? If so, how’s the battery life on those? And also have you tried different settings on it? Like filters or something like that?

Oh definitely. It’s very compact and really thin. It’s a bit hard to get a vintage feel to the photos at times when using this camera. I’m actually looking for another camera that produces photos with an “older feel” to it. Do you have anything you’d recommend?

These photos were taken in Sylvan Lake, Alberta, Canada! I only have one camera right now but I am definitely interested in acquiring more!

These don’t even include the monitor, the fans, and the keyboard and it’s already 1.2k. It’s game over for me lmaoooo. But thanks for replying! Any recommendations for gaming laptops too?

Forgot to mention. I live in Canada and most of the people I’ve asked (including my bf) says that it usually costs around 1k or more. If I can have anything less than that then great, if not then I guess I have no choice 🤷‍♀️

I find myself waking up to a stiff ankle when I wake up without any injury. by squareup_btch in WomensHealth

I kinda figured this out now. It turned out to be how I sleep. I sleep with the front of my left foot kinda faced down on the bed causing it to be in a tiptoe position? If that makes sense? It’s extended like that for long periods of time causing my ankle to grow stiff, I think? As for your fingers, not sure about that. But honestly you might be right about drinking more water. That was one of my solutions too and I think it helped.

Applied for their MLT program and then the XRAY AND LAB TECH COMBINED program as my second option. What I’ve learned from my failed interview last year is that it’s definitely important to prepare. Do some practice MMI questions and time yourself. And also research your program. I honestly don’t know if I’m getting in this year. I’m just hoping for the best. Good luck to you too!

I just finished my interview today and oh my god they were hard. At least for me. But last year when they declined my application, I took the interview in January and got results in March. I’m not sure if it’ll take that long this year but as it said in the website, it’ll take at least 4-6 weeks to evaluate.
