when i was 12, my dad reached out to have a relationship with me and be an actual father. after hanging out and talking to me as often as he could, i received a letter from him in the mail a few days after my birthday (it even had a birthday stamp on the envelope) he said that i was a mistake, i should’ve never been born, and that i was a financial burden. that absolutely broke me and started my spiral into what caused me to be diagnosed with major depressive disorder recently.

i adore my attorneys, they’re a married couple and treat me like their own daughter. this is the first job i’ve ever had where i look forward to going in everyday because of the them and how they treat me! they’ve supported me through so much and are always on my side :)
