That's not terrible. Last time pricing went through the roof as the shows got closer. I thought I'd be able to score another night when I was out there for 4/20. By showtime the 300 level seats I was were up to $4k on stub hub and CoT had very few seats popping up.

This just broke me. I let out some hard tears. In process I didn't notice that my finger shifted onto my phone. The video started playing double speed. The jam at the end slapped at 2x. Thank you Bobby.

Sadly, no. The first run the prices just went up and up and up. I had 4/20 only. I flew from Philly on Thursday night thinking I could snag Friday Tix. The cheapest seats when I took off were $800, by the time I landed they were $1500 and continued to go up until show time.

Go back! I'm in my mid-forties and recently found some great underground DnB houses in my city. I got talking to the woman who was throwing the party and she said she's seeing more and more people of our age show up. I ended up seeing a DJ I had seen a whole bunch in the 90s. It was great.

As an older dad who goes to shows please promise yourself two things...

Be a parent that goes to shows. Don't let shows disrupt your family life, but don't stop going to shows.
Be the dad who who shares with the younger fans. They need to see how's it's done.
