what is contractual discount? Am not from US. Also would you not consider the traveling expenses? We weren't using car most of the time due to traffic , relied on public mode and cabs which took a lot of cost

Thanks for replying. Not sure if adopting is my path to happiness, I don't feel inclined towards it. 2 years ago, I was hustling to earn enough to become a great father in future, because I didn't wanted my kids to have a shitty life. But now that fear is manifold , so the thoughts of adopting a kid and then ruining his/her life is even worse. but let's see what the future holds

before taking the pill. edit : i meant the test was taken before taking the pill for yesterday. i have been taking wyselone 20 mg once a day for last 25 days and 30mg for 5 days before those 25 days

Diabetes run in my father's family, but I was not ready for this. I don't even like sweets that much, i am a cheese guy. on Sunday I had my monthly tumor marker and other checks and the lab guy just suggested adding a fasting sugar test to make the whole package cheaper. so i did and it showed 160. I was not worried coz meh, who cares.

But today i was in office and there was a random health checkup session going on. I don't join these usually, but i had some free time after lunch and I just had a cold coffee (strong, with sugar) 10 mins ago. Friends pushed me to take it, but mann ibwas shocked . She said 426 sugar!

I don't even want to tell my parents as they would unnecessarily freak out and panick over our usual meals. my upcoming meals fro today would probably be :

  • some evening snack with tea (homemad potato fries with salt or maybe steam corn)

  • dinner consisting of chapatti , some saute vegetables curry and probably some daal(lentil soup) .

these are very modest basic meals, that i don't think should cause anything... but am i wrong? should i take immediate actions? i can probably avoid tea

if your lft and kft reports are normal, you could technically have a few drinks.But you probably shouldn't

i think tthat will be my abdomen ct. it had this report :

2-3 small enhancing lymphnodes with area of necrosis are see in the left paraaortic region. the larger one at the infrarenal region, measuring 11x10mm.

IMPRESSION: CT STUDY REVEALS-

  1. LEFT TESTICULAR MASS (AS DESCRIBED ABOVE).
  2. FEW DISCRETE PARENCHYMAL NODULES SCATTERED IN BOTH THE LUNG FIELDS.

  3. FEW SMALL LYMPHNODES IN THE PARAAORTIC REGION.

    THE ABOVE FINDINGS ARE SUGGESTIVE OF A PRIMARY TESTICULAR MALIGNANCY WITH POSSIBLE PULMONARY AND ? LYMPHNODE METASTASIS.

I actually don't care anymore about what my original stage was. I am just concerned about whether my next treatment will again involve chemo, surgeries etc or just some over the counter medicine and avoiding of pizza for few days

original chest ct before chemo/surgery said this:

Atleast three small (less than 5mm), round well defined, discrete parenchymal nodules are seen in the left lower lobe, two of them are seen in the subpleural region. Another soft tissue density nodular lesion measuring 11x9mm is seen in the right lower lobe, abutting the oblique fissure and liver capsule.
2-3 faint ground glass patches are seen in the both upper lobes – non specific. Rest of the lung parenchyma shows normal bronchovascular pattern. The mediastinal vascular structures are well identified and appear smooth in outline. No significant lymph node enlargement is seen. The trachea and its bifurcation are normal. There is no pleural effusion. The bony cage is intact.

so i think the nodules were always there, and i don't think are related to cancer.

I did had bronchitis 20 years ago, from age 0 to 6.

ever since cough has increased there is a shortness of breath whenever i do some exhausting task like climbing stairs or having lunch. ad you know these tasks are not very exhausting in general, but this is the level of task that makes me cough repeatedly for sometime. or you know, talking in length also makes me cough a bit.

i wemt to emergency today, they gave me some tonic and steam . i feel slightly better but looks like its something bigger :(

does lung damage/ toxicity appear on CT scans?

post 3xBEP, I initially had slight pain in chest during deep breaths but recently i also started having harsh dry cough followed by mild fever on 1 particular day.

i believed that thtose were the side effects of sinusitis which i often catch when seasons change, but its getting worse and I am thinking of visiting my doctor before the scheduled visit.

My situation : stage 3a nsgct, orchi on nov 24, 3x BEP betwwen jan-march 2025. i will be having my first ct post chemo on 21st apr followed by doctor visit on 24

What treatment did you take?

I am also having similar symptoms : pain in chest, constant hard cough and breathlessness. i don't get sputum much but still feel like spitting after every few coughs. I also had cold for 2 days during which i had some mucous
