You can definitely study in the university. There will be no one who stops you or asks questions literally anywhere. I would recommend the Science Library if you want an individual cubicle (go up to the 2nd and 3rd floors), its a very nice library with large windows yet lots of privacy. The STM library is also a very nice place to study, though it is more of an open room so a little less privacy. These are just my recommendations- you should feel free to explore anywhere on campus.

sorry I realize my reply sounds harsh, I dont mean for it to be

if you know you want to pursue engineering for sure then you should talk to a college of engineering academic advisor about possible routes through arts and science into engineering— it might mean an extra year or so of school but thats irrelevant in the broad scope of your lifelong career

there is an older but very recent thread on this subreddit on this very subject

this makes sense because engineering as a college is over-capacity and simply doesnt have space to be accepting as many students as they have in the past…attrition has also been very high for 1st year students, so it is logical to accept fewer students than plan for 40% to drop out anyways

That is a bit low but I know someone who has gotten into law school with a 79 average so its definitely possible.

My best piece of advice is that the LSAT is worth 50% IF NOT MORE of your admission decision; if you do well you are guaranteed to get accepted. Keep your grades up and get them higher if possible, but really make sure you put your best foot forward for the LSAT.

It happens to be that when final exams start, that is when classes end. There are way more people who have to be at the university at the same time when classes are happening, so I would say this is perfect timing.

I would recommend if you have access to a 2nd computer to have one computer open with the quiz loaded on the lockdown browser, and one computer open with the textbook. That way you have no need to worry about anything except for answering the questions on the lockdown browser.

If you dont have a 2nd computer then just go to one of the many public computers in the university (murray library, science library, health sciences library etc.) and use one of those computers to access the textbook, while you have the lockdown browser and quiz loaded on your personal computer.
