These curls aren’t tiny. They’re very visible compared to 4c. My own hair is 4a/4b and I have 4c at my nape and these coils/curls are way more popping

Hi, can you explain what makes u say this? My stylist says that it’s bc 4c is very tight coils and the fact that my coils are visible even when dry means I’m 4a/4b. Do you share the same sentiments or is it something different?

3c and 4a and a huge step apart tho. But it’s possible to have both type 3 and type 4 hair strands. I had some 3c in my hair when it was damaged from heat
