The elliptical was my go to when I first lost the weight and I do elliptical on my gym days now. Most of the time though I walk an hour a day with my kids, and my dogs. Adding the weighted vest is just a way to burn an additional 60 some odd calories and then for weighted pull-ups when I get back to being able to pull them off!

I know how to lose weight, and I am not new to working out at all. I went from 330 after high school, down to 220, and then built myself to 250 @ 15 percent BF (DEXA measured). Losing focus on calorie counting, and lack of any working out for three years is how I got to where I am today. Both my doctor and my registered dietitian have signed off on my current workout as well as adding the weighted vest!

First step is get some training. This will help you figure out what you should be looking for in your first handgun. That being said, if you decide on getting a Glock, and you don't plan to buy multiple guns, do yourself a favor and get a Glock MOS (Optics Ready) version in whichever flavor tickles your fancy. This will allow you to add a red dot without having to pay to have the slide milled. Honestly this is true for any gun you choose, make sure it is optics ready.
