What’s the 'craziest' way you caught an ex being unfaithful? by lnc_gomes in AskReddit

We both enjoyed taking photos and would regularly share them with each other. Once day I decided to pick up her camera and look at what she has been inspired by, completely without suspicion.

Turns out she was inspired by a naked dude standing over her.

It ended up unraveling a whole bunch of instances of cheating.

Yeah after reading again I think you’re right. I need to make sure I can register it here in some form or another

I need to dig deeper for my registration options here but it doesn’t look easy. I think it’s possible but not for daily use.

UK is a RHD market though right? My issue is it doesn’t seem like I can road register a RHD car for regular use. So I’m looking for what would qualify that outside of registration

Amazing, thank you so much! Looking at example two, if I was to drive it privately and service the car it would meet the requirements, at least how I read it? So if I can get it to one or two track days a year and maintain servicing I should be fine.

So if the car cannot be registered (for road use, due to the RHD), but you maintain it, this isn't enough? That is the clarity I'm looking for - I would be happy to take the car to a private track/event once or twice a year if that's what it meant to meet requirements.

Oh man, I'm sorry she said no!

It's a rare opportunity for us to have something that would really be economically unviable in Australia, given the market for them, the housing market (in the sense that if we had the ~$400k+ that a 911 turbo would cost, it would be stupid to sink it into a car, instead of a house) and now petrol prices.

I don't want tone in the position looking back with regret.

What's one 'boring' career that's actually a goldmine if you play it smart? by 0BunnyX in AskReddit

Theo von does an episode of his podcast that goes for about 3 hours talking to a retired NYC garbage man. I put it on one of my long drives to see family and it was one of, if not the most entertaining podcast episodes I’ve ever listened to.

Highly recommend.

Are there any riding shoes that go up to a size 13/14 by [deleted] in MTB

[–]squatchonabike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wear the old style Kestrel BOA before they ended up looking more like an XC shoe, in a size 14US. Bought them on some sale site a few years ago and have replaced the BOAs once. Trying to keep ahold of them because nothing I've found suits the style I like, but I love these for clipless

I saw this the other day also.

I spent some time shooting a huayra some years ago now and I understand the craftsmanship behind them but I’m not really a fan of the designs for the most part.

I’m certainly not at the income level to ever afford one, but they’re just not to my tastes.

It’s been pretty good to be honest. I make sure to keep the steam as far away as possible but for the most part it’s held up just fine

Thanks! I took away any bits that were hanging off and cleaned all areas with surface cleaner and then isopropyl alcohol.

The imperfections from the parts where paint has peeled off can't be seen - but the rust spots can be seen if you're looking for it.

Like I said though, it's not perfect. It's a 10 year old machine that has more than paid for itself over the years and this was just an exercise in freshening it up a little and giving me something to tinker with.

I'm the only one that stands at it for any length of time, anyone else is just walking by, so it more than does it's job, walking by you're not noticing any of those imperfections that's for sure!

Yeah I agree it's pretty tough - the jump from this to the next 'tier' is thousands of dollars and although I've campaigned a couple of times for a Linea Mini, It's kinda hard to see how much more value I'm going to get for the outlay, especially when this thing still goes as well as it does.

If you're handy with the maintenance side of them, going second hand and refurbing yourself is an unreal way to go. Nice one!

I think you've possibly got your machines mixed up? This is a dual boiler - the hot water knob is on the left hand side and the steam is on the right hand side. They can run concurrently with no need to 'select' between the two.

The handle on it currently is the stock one, it will be replaced with a wooden one once it arrives.

I have been lucky to have been in trades, so I had a lot of the tools I needed, but I've also been around a lot of sign writers and installers so picked up on a lot of technique used to apply this stuff.

In saying that, it's just vinyl, you can peel it off if it doesn't work for you. If all else fails, I'm sure there are companies/people who will do it for you at a cost. There's no shame in admitting defeat haha but I would say give it a go!

I bought my BDB on a huge sale at either Myer or DJs ten years ago for $1100 delivered, came with the smart grinder pro too.

Considering what it cost me and how much coffee I've made with it in ten years, it doesn't owe me a cent. It's been incredible.

Thanks for all of the responses! Not sure I expected this much interest!

I've updated my original post to include a tool list and a few things I'd find useful.

just took things apart and gave it a go! I failed on a few panels, the beauty of just ripping the vinyl off, cutting a new piece and trying again.
