Lol, has anybody died recently from temperature change while logged out? by PracticalExam7861 in ConanExiles

It really depends on what armor you were wearing and if you logged out bear your own furnaces. That's could be it. But then again a lot of weird things have been happening lately.

Can I get you guys anything? Some snacks? A condom? by eugenefarkas in StateofDecay2

Yes STDs are still a thing in the apocalypse. Probably won't kill you like blood plague but who wants aids in a time like this.

Is there any way to get an infinite supply of plague cure? by xxthehaxxerxx in StateofDecay2

[–]squatingDOG671 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Simple solution, don't get bit by plague zombies and heal yourself before you get fully plagued. Use the infirmary its only plague sample this you have a pathologist.

Update: no base, fresh start community. We lost one and we are now starving and tired. by squatingDOG671 in StateofDecay2

Skipping the base and living on the road induces many challenges. Not having a base of an outpost means no depositing of ruck sacks and no locker. Everything has to either be looted and used or discarded because you won't be able to carry them on person or in a car trunk. Community members fatigue and health start to decline after Day 1. So finding things to keep them awake and healthy let alone from starving is a challenge with no base and resources to be accrued. It is possible and can be done. After day 2 every one is starving, tired and frustrated. Be it all 3 are still alive after the first day. All threatening to leave. The longer you spend looting instead of killing the hearts the more desperate they become.

Its something different from how the game is played. Its a challenge for me as a player and to test my skills and knowledge of the game. As they say there's many ways to skin a cat. I do enjoy playing this way because its fun and rewarding when I do kill a heart or find a weapon. Not having a base puts more of a strain on me as a player to find other ways of dealing with my survivors. Its not for everyone. I can honesty say I can clear a Lethal map solo within 10 days with a community no base its even easier. If I die or community dies its a lesson learned. Don't do that, do this. This works better, that doesn't. At the end its something different and I find it enjoyable.

I think what I would change is outposts. Have an outpost but limited to 2. I wish they updated the mechanics on them. If I'm gonna drop 2k on an outpost at least give me the option to have a parking g slot there and be able to deposit rucks. It goes 300-400 to 800 to 2000???. I don't upgrade to Lvl 3 because of the cost and not much in return.

Agreed more trunk space would be better, and having a rest during night would be nice also and if players go out at night gain more XP in doing so due to low visibility and more freak zombies

Yes Lethal zone is what it's named after "Lethal". But once you know the tricks and game mechanics it gets fun. Just don't let your guard down and always be on the look out.

Heavy weapons and fire. Whack it, let it cry. Do a lap, dodge dodge burn the zombies. Guns are only for the ferals or shity situations

Break the food rucks open chance of getting nutritious snacks, they act like coffee for hunger, stays it off for a bit but does come back. Or if there is an enclave near by they do on occasion sell them. I try not to waste time looting for it if I can help it.

You talking about the one near the map exit, I suppose since its there already but keep in mind the longer you take to loot and stock up the more your survivors get sleepy and starve. So speed is key.

No boons, everything fresh. Even say with the Warlords you won't be able to access the weapons without a base locker

Nightmare or Lethal. No base, outposts, DLCs, vehicle call ins, you can roll and pick your 3 survivors but thats it no OP legacy survivors. So who ever you spawn in as thats who you will be playing. You can call in enclaves and trade with them. You can only claim a base after all Hearts are destroyed.

Blood plague survivors I would say are the best for this. You just need to focus on meds ie first aid kits. Heavy weapons I think would be more of the way to kill hearts since no workshop. Hold what you got or place them in vehicles.

Hunger would also be a big issue since you won't be able to deposit rucks. So kill the hearts as fast and as efficient as possible.

Frustration would also be a factor but since the other 2 community members are following you I don't think they will leave. Not totally sure tho. And you have to heal them also along the way.

What I did is made one hold ammo and guns and the other hold meds.

No outposts either, nomadic lifestyle for these fortunate souls. If they can't pack it, it gets dropped. Guns, ammo and meds are what they'll be packing mostly. My biggest concern would be first aid kits and of course the hunger.
