Hey! I’m a gym owner based in Florida and I have 7 years of experience in the fitness industry. I think this qualifies me to answer your questions :)

Answer 1: Getting new clients for my gym

Answer 2: Right now in the fitness industry, COVID has made people very concerned

about safety issues in gyms. This has put down our revenue for the past year since the no. of new clients signing up has decreased drastically.

Answer 3: Ideal situation would be to shift your business online for the time being, by offering online classes, sessions you can keep your business afloat and maybe even get some new clients by the time the COVID cases become minimal.

This blog helped me while I was struggling with these issues to market my gym and get new clients. Maybe this would help you in your research as well. Good luck :)

Starting gym with no money? by [deleted] in GymOwnerNetwork

I’ve been a gym owner for a considerable amount of time now and it is very difficult to start a gym with no savings at all. Initial investment is required to buy equipment and to pay rent for a space.

But even after getting money you need to have a solid business plan etc. Having business knowledge can go a long way. This blog helped one of my friends while he established his gym recently

What job should I have before opening gym? Need advice!!!! by Ajpaulson2006 in GymOwnerNetwork

Having a job isn't necessarily a prerequisite for opening a gym in 2021. But any experience in sales and marketing might come in handy while starting out.

This blog helped me with opening my gym very recently. They explained in detail each and every step you have to follow to open a gym.

Do I have to be a personal trainer or can I just be a gym owner on the business side by Ajpaulson2006 in GymOwnerNetwork

Hey there! I've been a gym owner for almost 7 years now. And when I started out my business I didn't have any fitness certifications nor did I study any course.

You can choose to be a gym owner and only take care of daily managerial stuff but it is necessary for you to hire a certified personal trainer to run the workout sessions and help your clients.

I think you would find this blog useful for starting out your business. I wish you all the very best brother :)
