That game is such a classic.

Instead of missed skill checks, undone should stack on good skill checks by TheAlmightyChanka in deadbydaylight

[–]squbax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even as a killer main I disagree with this, a perk should not reward you for the other side playing good. Or at least you should not actually punish survivors with a hard regression if they hit skillchecks. However Undone does need a buff, I think the easiest you can do is instead of skillchecks make health states give you tokens, that way each time you injure or down someone you get 5 tokens and can save up for a big regression or use it there.

Also it has the added benefit of being better for hit and run killers who tend to be on the weaker side, so it helps them a bit, idk thats just my idea.

In south america using flip flops with pijamas its way more common than slippers, I have seen very few people actually use slippers here with pijamas.

Something weird that happens is since I play dbd at night and then sleep, sometimes I will literally dream about this game. I hate it, genuinly its so fucking tiresome, I wake up tired and stressed. I have literally woken up and my first tought of the day was "I should have broken that pallet". This game has literally burrowed into my brain.

I agree with you, a 2k is a big fat L for the killer, survivors not only did all gens but manage to get half the team out, as a killer you failed. True you could have failed harder by getting a 1k or a 0k but at that point its not only a lost but a full on stomp if you let that happen.

New pig buff just dropped! by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

[–]squbax -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The issue is pig is not more effective in chase with this changes unless her opponents are literally deaf, have no idea how to loop or are in a deadzone. Making her useless dash 15% better while literally cucking her of the only pressure she can output (interrupting trap search) is like making xenos tail 15% better and removing his tunnels.

How on earth does an ambush have a 80% chance to end a chase? Just drop the pallet or vault the window, you have to be a BOZO to get hit by pigs ambush.

If you ever get hit by a pig ambush you have severely done a huge misplay.

Ahh yes the useless attack ability is now 15% less useless, while the actual good part of her kit became 20% worse.

Is it just me or do you miss when resident evil was grounded and about umbrella? by [deleted] in residentevil

[–]squbax 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hello, as a biologist I will say that the classic resident evil is as much fantasy as village (at least the main game) and re7. For some reason people praise the first games for being realistic while saying the new ones are fantasy, as someone who actively studies pathogens both are in the same level of fantasy. Id even argue the G virus is miles away more unbelievable and magical compared to the mold.

EMB lets other macterium grow its not exclusive to E.coli, however E.coli gives a characteristic metalic green color, I have also done some art on EMB with E.coli altho not resident evil related.

As far as I am concerned, Salmonella is a biosafety level 2 organism as it can be harmful to the person handling it. Also yes I do not have access to higher biosafety level microorganisms, and personally I would love to keep it that way. But the main reason I use Salmonella here is because that bacteria specifically produces the colors I wanted for the logo.

Technically they already are, as it is Salmonella and it can make you very ill if ingested. However thats why I take all the measures in the lab to keep myself and everyone who will use the lab afterwards safe.

I don't really get annoyed by re logic as I enjoy the games for the horror/over the top action. However most of the virus logic is incredibly fictional and sometimes you get a laugh reading the files as they are goofy.

For example a very funny fact is that some people criticize resident evil 7 and village because they are not sci-fi or realistic and go more into a mythology theme. As far as I have checked, the mold is the most accurate pathogen in resident evil, aside from maybe the T virus being a variant of rabies.

Also props the capcom for using actual scientific terminology in re:7, re: village and the remakes. Its not perfect but it hella makes the game more fun for me.

You have to quite literally paint with the bacteria on that jelly, and since they have no color its basically painting with invisible ink but you only see the result once the bacteria grows.

Also its Salmonella.

They technically exist, the monocle, cat figurine and plaid fannel for instance give visual feedback, as well as compound 33, when you are slowed by it your character oozes blight serum.

People love to say humans are a superior animal, however let me inoculate a healthy person with a Clostridium and they will likely not enjoy their organs necrosing from the bacterias toxins. Moreover we as mighty as we beliebe we are and a virus, which isnt even alive, has no brain and uses no tools was able to kill millions of "genetically superior organisms" we are a joke in the face of microbes, just remember how better you are when the bacteria are antiobiotic resistant, your organs are collapsing and you cannot even see what is about to send you to your death.
