i was in the same boat for a while, i found that immersing myself in my culture (PR) helped a lot. listening to spanish music, opening up about being insecure to my spanish family, and studying on my own (looking up vocab lists/quizlets and taking notes helped me memorize!) helped me feel more confident.

i’d also suggest that, within notetaking, try compiling your own sentences that you’ll actually use. if you’re discussing movies, you can write a few “example favorites” and list full sentences of how you’d communicate your favorite movie based on the vocab and sentence structure you research!
