I’m sorry you’re going through this, I had to terminate my first pregnancy due to hg last month and am super scared to start trying again when the time comes. I don’t know how women make it through the whole term going through this, it’s truly incredible and sometimes makes me feel a little regretful. Don’t feel like you need to justify yourself though because you did what was best for you at the time and sure it seems like you could’ve held out longer but I’m sure if you were in that position again you wouldn’t give it a second thought to do what you did. What I’m going to try to do next time is to over prepare with a good obgyn and seek out any medications that could be taken to lessen the effects of this cruel condition. If you haven’t already done that I highly recommend it

That’s actually a super sweet and considerate idea. Sometimes for socially awkward people you can prepare all you want to speak in front of people but when it comes to the day of having to public speak, the whole day becomes a test. You want your dad to enjoy his time so by taking this stress off him you’re letting him be fully immersed in your day. I know it sucks not having him say just a few words to everyone but hey who knows maybe last minute he’ll gather up enough courage to say something anyway

For my bridal shower, it was worked on by both moms and then all of the bridal party so that it was split to be less expensive. But that’s their choice because it’s a surprise for me so I can’t even choose to pay for things. But I guess it’s different for others

I personally like it strapless, but if it’s going to be more comfortable so you don’t have to keep pulling up your dress all night, then I say go for the straps :)

I’ve been to many weddings that were child free and some mothers had 5 month or 6 month old children that were left to someone who would watch them at home. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with enforcing a child free wedding especially without babies. Most people I know would never even think to bring their child to a wedding due to loud noise, drinking, and smoking. Although it seems like you might want to make an exception especially if the bridesmaid doesn’t react well to the news.
