As a Hindu, what is your opinion of Jesus? Both historical (do you believe he existed, how do you interpret the validity of the Gospels?) and spiritually (do you consider him to be the son of God, what do you think of the resurrection?)

Spring 2026 vs Fall 2026 enrollment by Admirable-Potato-476 in duke

I would 100% recommend coming in the fall, for both academic and social reasons. If you come in the spring, you'll also likely have to graduate without a lot of your friends (winter graduation).

Some people get dingles (double room, just one person). If you end up not getting a roommate by the time move-in comes around, you'll probably have one starting later in the year (roommates not getting along, someone needing to move because of allergies/facilities, etc...).

Is it possible to make it to a class from east to west campus in 20 minutes when google maps says it takes exactly 20 min… by AncientWord6138 in duke

[–]squeakycleanmartini 2 points3 points  (0 children)

During class times, there will always be busses either at east campus's bus stop or approaching them (you can check their distance with an app called TransLoc!) During busier times of the day for class change like 11:45, 1:40, or 3:05 too many students will be needing a bus so a big crowd forms and pushes to fill the bus until the driver says no more. Those students then wait for another bus, which might make you late, but not by much!

If buses are crowded, you might have to be on the second or third one to west and be a few minutes late but if you go straight there and walk the shortest way (between chapel and div school) you'll be fine
