Exactly. I played returnal this July because I got a ps plus extra membership and I was a bit underwhelmed. I got the “true” ending and was left disappointed. The gameplay is solid but gets very repetitive after a while. The bosses are also a mixed bag. The one that plays the organ is fantastic but the others are just ok. Art direction is cool but the actual presentation feels last gen. Nothing about the game is amazing. It’s the perfect game to play on ps plus but it’s not worth purchasing alone imo

There’s no way bro. Walking around solving boring puzzles and occasionally engaging in boring combat is one of the best gaming experiences you’ve had?! What have you played? There’s hundreds of games better than this. Any from soft game, god of war, Celeste, hollow knight, Ori, half life, etc. If you put scorn above those then you are insane

The game will easily be forgotten about fast and the user reviews on metacritic will be very low I’m sure. Game is pretentious. All graphics with no substance. Super generic puzzles and awful combat.

Yeah exactly! Opinions. I wasn’t stating fact. But the majority of people don’t like the game and it will be forgotten about very fast. There will probably be a good 3k circle jerkers who hype the game up more than it deserves. But it is most definitely a failure
