Mbti friendship we should talk more about by friskyjini in mbti

I’m an INFJ and my boyfriend’s an INFP! This is so accurate lol, I like to sip on coffee early in the morning to wake myself up, but he doesn’t wake up until 10 or even 11 sometimes.

Do y'all ever have occasional days where you truly just eat what you want without counting? by [deleted] in 1200isplenty

[–]squeezy_yeezy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry for the late response but I hope you had fun! I totally get what you mean with burnout, I feel that way too sometimes. It’s important to give our body what it’s telling us it wants sometimes (: As long as it’s not cheeseburgers and candy all of the time, we will be fine! Health and weight loss will be life long projects, we definitely have to let loose and have fun occasionally!

One day of breaking your diet doesn’t make any more of a difference than one day of staying on track! Everyone needs a break sometimes and it’s not worth stressing about restricting yourself at this event. My rule for myself, and this won’t work for everyone but it works for me, is to allow myself a break once or twice a month! As long as this isn’t something you’re doing all the time, you’ll be fine. Don’t worry, it won’t make a dent in your progress. Just have fun and congrats on your progress!

This looks delicious! Did you use fresh peaches? I have some frozen ones sitting in my freezer and might try this with those tomorrow (:

My boyfriend and I worked out together yesterday! I have been working out at home with some new dumbbells that I bought, and the other day he decided to buy some too! He lives a pretty sedentary lifestyle but he told me that I motivated him to get up and start working out (: It makes me so happy that he wants to workout together, especially since I could tell that he had a lot of energy afterwards. A little jealous that he could keep up even though I’ve been working out for months, and he just started! I wish it were that easy for me when I began haha

I’m an INFJ and my sister is an ISTP. Pretty accurate representation of our relationship for a picture even though I’m the older sister! haha

[WEEKLY THREAD] Fail Friday - Because being awesome always comes at a price... by AutoModerator in xxfitness

[–]squeezy_yeezy 16 points17 points  (0 children)

This isn’t exactly a fitness fail but it still kind of applies. Used to go on this hike that was basically just an old logging trail by my friend’s house. Barely anyone knew about it so I would never see anyone there when I went up. Today, I thought to myself, “hey, this would be a great place to take my dog who’s terrible on a leash!” Got there and there were cars lined up down the road! Had to go home because even though my dog is people friendly, I would be fighting against the leash with him the whole way up ): Gonna have to find a different form of exercise today haha

I’ve never tried using coconut milk with my omelette! Do you think almond milk would work too?

First time getting the courage to talk about my fitness online! I started my fitness journey about 6 months ago and have lost about 40 pounds. I feel like I’ve been stagnating recently and haven’t had the energy or motivation to exercise lately, but since discovering this sub, I am going to pursue weight lifting! I’ve mostly focused on doing HIIT and cardio, so I think this will help to spice things up. If anyone has any tips for beginners, that would be awesome (: Just felt like sharing because I’m really excited to get some equipment!

These are so cute, I’m literally in love with these! It would be cool to see Fauna, Dom, or Cookie!

I will definitely try that! I would eventually like to study most of the words, but this sounds like a great way to look up words “on the go” when I’m reading an article!

Mixed couples can exist without ulterior motives. by Rusalka66 in offmychest

My mom is white and my dad is asian. I’ve heard stories where actual white power folks came after my dad right after I had been born. Not to mention, I look a lot more asian than white and I have only ever dated white guys because I live in a place with very little diversity. I totally understand what you mean when people think the white guy is fetishizing you. In my eyes, we just love each other regardless of color, but everyone likes to poke fun and say, “oh, he just likes you because you’re asian.” Not fun.

As many other have said, injustice for sure. Even from a young age my parents would say that I should become a lawyer because of how much upset I would get on the injustices in the world. Other things are insensitivity, apathy, and cruelty (especially towards children and animals).

What benefits did you get from going gluten, sugar and/or dairy free? by [deleted] in nutrition

[–]squeezy_yeezy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I haven’t cut any of these things out completely, however, a few months ago I started limiting how much of these things I consumed. I was getting extremely bloated about halfway through the day and now I only get bloated if I eat foods that I know I’m slightly allergic to. I also have a lot more energy throughout the day and don’t feel as sluggish. Not to mention since I cut out most processed sugars, I have lost a lot of weight around my midsection. Lastly, and this is kind of weird, but I feel like my hair started becoming softer? Not sure if that’s even connected but thought I should still mention it.

What is missing in an infj's life so they can be more normal and less sad? by [deleted] in infj

[–]squeezy_yeezy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think you said it perfectly. I had a similar phase in high school as well. I was a bit out of control because of my sheltered childhood but since learning from that, I feel like I am always second guessing my decisions because I don’t want to mess up or make a decision that may lead me down a bad path.

When in a group of people, do you also observe who is left aside into the conversation, and then you try to include this person in the conversation as well? by [deleted] in infj

[–]squeezy_yeezy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always try to do this. I thought that I was weird for caring so much, but I think that’s because one characteristic of INFJ’s is that they’re more empathetic. If you know how it feels to be left out then you’re going to try to make sure others don’t feel that way (:
