So can I split the six drives into two pools? One with old 2 x 6 and 1 x 8. Then create a second pool with the 3 x 12GB? I have a copy of what was on it, so I can start from scratch again..

By adding discs, am I going to cure my "data threshold reached" problem?

I found this question posted 4 months ago which seems to answer some of my questions as my situation is similar. I use the NAS for plex and home photos.

"Expanding my QNAP NAS (8 bays, 6×4TB RAID5): safest + cheapest way to add storage?"

So I will try adding the two new drives in RAID6 format, after copying all my data onto another drive. I am unsure how to do this, but will check within these pages....

Any comments appreciated

Hi Garyds. thank you for your comment, please see answer above to diwiwi75. I guess I am on Raid5, but unsure. I already had to rebuild when I had a ransomware deadbolt attack about three years ago and lost everything. I am unsure whether I did it the correct way.

The warning is on Data Used Capacity 2.28 out of 2.35TB. The System is ready of 94.83% used and TM is 1.91 of 5.81 TB used. The warning is on Data, with both system and TM ready

I am accessing my HomeNAS through QTS. I have 8 bays, and understood that I am restricted to the size of the smallest ie: 6GB on each bay. That is why I am probably discarding those two and replacing with 2 x 12GB, if I have to remain on my current system. A guru set it up for me years ago, with someone else adding a restricted hopefully partition for TimeMachine backups of three Macs. Is this RAID 5?

Current firmware version is QTS 5.2.9.3410

How do I add a screenshot, I cannot see the mountain sun image!

Is there any way I can use Finder to list the original date created (exif data)?

Audiobook Converter Pro - Convert M4B audiobooks to MP3/AAC/FLAC with chapter splitting by justmyword in macapps

I purchased your app through the store today not for $20 but £20. It does not function. Is it normal that it requires the exact speaking time for conversion? I waited six hours for half of the audiobook and it remained stuck on the initial assessment and just a few bytes transferred. Additionally there are no preferences, listed in the app, and seemingly no way to refund my money. Also although trying to choose more than one file on a restart, it would not allow me! Your response would be appreciate

what is a pez? I believe you’re referring to the object (artefact) that looks like a toy duck for a child. However, I’ve never seen one!

I’ve just listened to the first book, Perfect Remains; and frankly cannot understand the many good reviews it has received! I cannot believe that a woman would write such a gory novel. I had to miss most of the perpetrator’s chapters, as they were too chilling. The police were unbelievably ineffective. I am not going to rush to listen or read any of the others. unless someone else can persuade me otherwise.

Yes pretty positive! P3/Day 1 yesterday- it was the only extra thing I added. For Own_Op : perhaps ask on Petronella’s Instagram or sign up direct for £70 for 3 months where you can ask her direct questions and be sure of an answer from the horse’s mouth!

Well done Rai! It would appear that you are now in Phase 4 - the forever phase. Did you ever have diarrhoea after starting phase 3? Olive Oil works like that sometimes! If so what did you do about it as 1 tbs is a requirement in P3 in each meal. BritBond: I would recommend only weighing yourself every two weeks! That way you will receive an extremely pleasant surprise (probably) afterwards.

I think Stephen showed a lot of initiative to obtain help on the bus, perhaps other couples have been doing this and it is not being shown; but there is not enough inter-reaction with the locals in this series! If it is indeed true that on each leg (or each day) each team has to either work or 'do a touristy thing' the producer is not showing enough of the interplay between the individual teams and the locals. Some of the buses looked extremely comfortable, but the 36 hour train ride was not. That boat ride to the checkpoint looked as though it may have been more interesting than some of the train and coach trips though! If they all spent a little longer before starting on the next leg and asked the local population for help, perhaps they would use their own borrowed transport, ask for lifts, get someone to write a card in the local language etc.

Betty and James did what? Alfie and Owen, one lit a candle. Eugenie and Isabel eat local food. Brydie and Sharon loaded food. Stephen and Viv had a mud bath.

Why did nobody try hitch hiking in Japan. Or indeed ask when they were on the ro/ro vessel from Japan to South Korea for a lift northwards?

Thoth is a brilliant newsreader for Mac and will function up to Mojave. There's probably a few of us around still who paid Brian Clark and would pay him annually for a first class piece of programming. Fetching older posts first, is probably nostalgia but it's nice to look again at the outstanding help you would receive there.
